She doesn't use the /vt/ term of oshi. You're allowed to have as many oshis as you want but only allowed to have one kamioshi. Noel has both Ayame and Subaru as an oshi. Just like how Ayame has Okayu and Mio as her oshi.

before vtubers i was following irl idols for years and once my kamioshi retired from the entertainment industry i tried to keep going but honestly nothing felt the same without her. i still like idols but i'm more of a casual fan than hardcore otaku as before (i've switched to chuubas full time).
it may not be the case for you but just give yourself the time to deal with it, when the time comes distance yourself from the hobby as you see fit and see how you feel. sorry for the blogpost but basically what's most important is that you don't force anything.

I'm 100% sure that if Kenmochi graduates I will stop involving myself in any and every vtuber fanbase I'm currently in so I feel you tbqh. I feel like kamioshi is kind of like a pivot, you'll watch other vtubers alongside him but once he stops you'll just lose interest in everyone altogether.

Wishing all the people who have Mayu as their kamioshi the best of luck. I know what it feels like since mine graduated a year ago. The pain never truly goes away but it becomes more bearable as the days go by.

The whole not talking about what they're recording or doing seems to be a systemic problem with Hololive, so many girls do the same thing. Some warn a bit better than others (and Kanata is a bit worse at it, which REALLY isn't surprising from any perspective).
But this isn't anything new.

You should know by now not to treat any girl as your kamioshi and watch only her to the exclusion of others. You're just setting yourself up for stupid outcomes.
If you have too much free time, just start watching Koyori and your problems will disappear.

That sounds extremely reasonable, but in practice it's not how it works. It's not as if I decided one day I'd pick a kamioshi and settled on Kanata after thinking about it.

I don't want to sound like a dickhead because I do understand your point I view but I could never relate to it, maybe because I'm only slightly older than chammers but I would never ever regret any time or energy I invested for her, there's no real way to know who invested more me or you but it's a fact that the investment did happen.
I can never understand those who feel like you, not just towards chammers but towards their oshi/kamioshi in general, but I can see that people do feel like this sometime

I want him to so badly. More than anything. My kamioshi is vox just being vox while playing the things he loves the most. Being stupid and horny and making dumb jokes and thanking supers while being a fucking idiot dying to the same enemy in dark souls 2 over and over. Whispering sweet nothings in my ear.
