Regardless, I'm not too sure how I feel about him intentionally dividing his fanbase between the "real" ones (i.e. the ones that are able to catch his twitcast, especially ones that get unarchived) and the more casual ones. It seems counterintuitive to his numberfagging tendencies. By no means should be directly pander to tourists, but vilifying isn't the play either. And by casual, I don't mean tourists either; I mean the ones that
support him/have him in their list of oshis but don't exactly prioritize him over other chubas like those who kamioshi him. You can't tell your fans to take care of themselves and to not sacrifice their health to obsessively catch every single stream on the off chance that it gets unarchived, then turn around and say his true fans are the ones watching the twitcasts.

He's his own person and I can respect his priorities even if I don't agree with them.

I watched selen when she played classic ps1/ps2 games, i watch her sometimes still.
Rosemi was my kamioshi for the longest time, day 1 rosebud and all, but like most og rosebuds who fell in love with her at debut, I slowly stopped watching her.

I watch like almost every Elira stream except certain collabs and minecraft streams sometimes. I watch Pomu and Selen the second most. I technically watch Selen more than pomu merely as a result of Pomu and Elira streaming around the same time and Selen streaming at a different time than the 2 of them.

For Nijisanji, ID, IN, and KR failed because of dogshit management, marketing, and boring ass talents. They have always focused on quantity over quality with hope they would randomly strike gold. I'm not saying there are no good talents in these branches but there are far more unpopular talents than popular ones. The dogshit management which has caused many NijiKR talents to leave does not help. In contrast, in Hololive most of the members have about equidistant popularity.

ID is totally emblematic of this. ID in Nijisanji has so many fucking talents and yet very few of them have any success, so much so they had to be merged into the main branch. HoloID had a rough start, but no one can deny they debut group was extremely talented, and they slowly climbed their way up as their successive gens found extremely high success with its own talents. There were also far less of them, which allowed for more time to spend on each individual talent without being overwhelmed by the sheer amount of them.

Nijisanji will never be irrelevant, but it's mass-production of talents as well as well as China dick-sucking will always make it less appealing to the West.
