I...I kneel to both of you. I'll reach 3 digit kudos status someday. I used to get kinda down by it when comparing my numbers to others, but I got over it since this is just a fun thing I enjoy and want to do with all I got. It also might be a reality of the fanfic general audience space that fantasy adventure ain't a huge draw, but I could be dead wrong on that.
I'm pretty sure I dug my fic's own grave once I got AO3 access though. I uploaded 8 chapters worth of the thing all in one night, without really realizing then that most readers don't binge series like I did.
