Anon your retardation is going to the max
>Oh sure, that's why Sora was crying about her not getting any serious sponsorships despite being one of the few 100k chuubas in existence. The "otaku acceptance" thing is a lot more recent, and even now there's still a HUGE subsection of normies that seethe at the V豚 crowd.
That's why I said IN NO WAY IS ANIME SHIT THE NORM IN JAPAN, yet you ignored it, I know sora had it hard but with how japan was growing with anime culture the shift was bound to happen, again, CULTURAL DIFFERENCES
>Japan's streaming culture was like that for a while as well anon.
Pekora was an NND troll, and a ton of the old NND crowd still continues to seethe at Holos (who are also old NND folks for the most part) finding success by "pretending to be anime girls and milking otaku".
I hope you don't get banned for this bit anon, the janny is retarded, however, again, THE CULTURAL difference makes it easier for anime shit to break into mainstream even if NND is making fun of them.
>We do not NEED to imagine anon.
>We saw their leeching attempts FIRST HAND.
Anon I was refering to breaking into mainstream there, not some faggots trying to leech, I meant seing gura posters, collab stores, etc without a landwhale screeching and getting the place banned.
>You are an absolute retard that doesn't understand that they already tried this. Do you not remember Brittany Venti and how utterly she got btfo by existing holofans for her retardation?
I do know of britanny saggers, but that was mostly a protected space she tried to break into, again, I'm talking about them going TRULY mainstream just like suisei or pekora, they have even more difficulty doing that because CULTURAL DIFFERENCES.
I never implied that I wanted them to talk to the fools, stop putting words in my mouth faggot, what I'm saying is that they do not have the same playing field as the JPs. That doesn't deny the fact that gura needs to stream more and ame has to get her shit together anc cut ties with ''CAN YOU BUY ME A CAR?'' watson family.
>JP holos worked their ass off year over year in order to get to where they are now.
YES ANON AND THEY HAD THE CORPO CLOSE TO THEM, for any of the girls to do shit they needed to go to japan who went giga retarded on covid shit, it made Kiara lose her weird visa, which pormpted mori to find solace on TT crew since her friend left and spiraled shit out of control. Do you think I'm new to myth or something? do you think I haven't lived the omega days where gura wanting to have a daki was a big no no until she got to japan????? while the JPS had some unrelated faggots hating on them, the EN girls had a very related faggot managing them all who dropped and ghosted IRYS, debuted a ton of homos and fucked up so badly that even Yagoo himself had to go to their reunions, the ENs suffered sabotage from the fucking inside like no one can believe, it got so bad that an off-collab with petra, uki and some other nijiliver got 1k less ccv than fucking MYTHVERSARY.

Interacting with chat is good, what's the point of streaming otherwise, watch big indie channels, they always read and talk to chat.
90% of viewers don't want to talk all the time and want to just watch you and relax, 5% are regulars that talk at intervals and different points and 5% or less talk all the way through.
Remember that people have things to do, sometimes they can FULLY watch the stream, sometimes they can watch and do other stuff at the same time and sometimes they can only watch for a bit at a time and this is the same for talking too, so don't expect someone to chat once and keep talking forever in chat, they are most likely lurking, sometimes asking a question will bring them out, sometimes they are too busy. It is what it is.
The growing pains of small streamers is that you wont have a lot of people in chat ALL the time and you'll have to fill dead air often but people ARE there watching and listening assuming the ccv doesn't say 1 anyway.
And some people have a short social battery.

Would be awesome for her too, listening to stream now I realize how many people say she motivates them and all, but seeing someone actually make it big must be an amazing feeling. Then again, it's not like it hasn't happened already.
>>73237053
Usually I feel the same, but sometimes I think it must be pretty fun having friends who share the same interest as you. If we could talk about other things as well, that is. Having buddies with whom you only talk about that "worship" must be weird.

Q: The next question was about Hiroshima food into talk about the Hiroshimaben dialect and Kansaiben and this went on for like 15 minutes. I'm going to skip this.

Q: Now that there are alternative outfits for the Hololive friends with you plushies coming out, is there any chance for a Kurokami version?

Kurokami is not a member of Hololive, so there is basically no chance, no. There>'s also not going to be separate birthday goods for her or anything like that, either. The most she can do is include little Kuro elements or at least allusions to her in her own birthday goods (she was featured as a sticker last year, I believe). While she has often said that Kuro is not affiliated with Hololive, this time, she explicitly stated that Kuro is an indie Vtuber. Not sure if this is implying anything about the copyright situation or if it was just figuratively, but I thought it was pretty interesting. She acknowledged that there wasn't really a lot of Kurochan in the past year except for the cover on her birthday, but then only really said that she intends to do something else like that for her birthday like another cover or a monthly wallpaper this year, too. Not sure if this means we aren't going to get any Kurochan between now and then, though. I hope we do! The topic of a new Kurochan outfit came up, and while she said she would really love to see it, it's not likely to happen because that would mean she'd have to sacrifice an outfit of her own, which she isn't really willing to do right now. The topic of Burinyan came up and she made it pretty clear that there will never be a live 2D for her. Someone then asked if Burniyan will get a 3D model instead and she vehemently denied it and said she would rather get her own alternative 3D outfit and wouldn't want to give that up for that cat. With Pekomama getting a model of her own for April Fool's, the topic of Mamagitsune appearing on stream came up once more. She laughed and said she thinks that's not going to happen. She kind of laughed it off and said she'd probably be too embarrassed about it. Interestingly enough, that sounded a little different from last time the topic came up. I remember her being pretty clear about not wanting her mother to appear on stream last time, while she kind of made it sound like it's more due to her mother being shy about it this time. I wonder if she has pitched the idea, or if she was just hedging her bets here a little.

Q: What's the most important takeaway you have realized during the course of your Vtuber activities?

Don't do things you don't want to do. be clear about what you want to do and don't force yourself to do things you don't want to do. Don't let streaming become something you do out of duty, only do them when you feel like it so that they stay something you do for fun. If they become a chore, then the future is going to get tough. Space them out to the extent you need to and try not to force yourself to stream just because of the fans. If you force yourself, you will stress yourself out and your viewers will notice, you won't be able to deliver a fun and interesting stream and the stress of forcing yourself will require you to take more frequent and/or longer breaks eventually. That's also why she sometimes just takes like 2-3 days off in a row so she can cool down a little and catch up on other things like Anime and Manga and Games when she needs to recharge. Taking a rest once in a while is very important.

Q: Which Holomen do you talk to with the most lately?

It's Micomet, she has been talking to them a lot lately because they make plans and go places together and also plan for collabs. She doesn't actually talk to the other members about everyday things all that much. She loves her alone time and likes to do things on her own, she's just not that kind of person that messages or calls somebody else and asks "Do you have time right now? Wanna chat for a bit?" Not even with Mio, she think Mio is more likely to talk to Okayu or Subaru about this kind of stuff. That's just not how she likes to spend her time, she'd rather do stuff alone when she is at home with free time. It's not that she wants to keep everyone at arm's length or anything, that's just how she is. She loves going places and hanging out with the other members and almost always goes if she is invited or the an opportunity to hang out arises, and she is then able to talk with them just fine, she just doesn't necessarily go out of her way to do that most of the time. Even when they do hang out, she is a much better listener than talker, anyway.

A Sukonbu then asked in the chat if she considers streaming to be work, then. She thought about it for a while and settled on the fact that it's both for her. She is the type that made her passion into her job so it never really feels like a chore or anything to her, it's just what she loves doing. It's both a hobby and work at the same time. If she thought of it as work or duty, something she HAS to do, she would probably not stream nearly as much as she does, she mostly treats it as a hobby or a time where she can relax. Streaming isn't even the biggest part of what she does at her job at Hololive, anyway. Streaming has just become a part of her everyday life and she has a lot of fun doing it. Sukonbu: "So if streaming doesn't feel like work to you, you basically have a 365 day weekend" She laughed at that. She thinks if you think of being a Vtuber as a job only, it would be hard to continue doing it, you kind of have to love what you do, too. It's a balancing act. Thinking more about it, streaming is basically a form of self-advertising for her. She gets to present herself to a lot of people in the hope that some of them stick around and get interested in what she has to offer. Someone asked her if the lessons are tough and she said only when her muscles ache afterwards, but she doesn't really have all that many lessons compared to other members. She usually only takes dance if she needs to learn a new choreography and the occasional voice training, while other members such as Watame do them constantly. Someone asked if speaking in her very first stream was tough and she said it was, it was 5 years ago and she doesn't really want to think about it too much. She had no idea what to talk about and over exaggerated her voice way too much. Thinking back, she didn't really have any idea what she was doing at the time. She likened it to talking on the phone with strangers, one's voice is weirdly high and one feels tense and stuff like that. She really doesn't recognize herself in the voice she used back then. But on the other hand, thinking back about it is very nostalgic and she doesn't really want to forget how it felt to be new back then.

Q: Are you not doing any collabs with the Holostars anymore?

She said she was wondering about the same thing, she hasn't really gotten many invites from them lately. She is actually planing to play Lethal Company with Aruran tomorrow, but other then that there hasn't been much lately. She said she wouldn't mind being invited more, but she's also often busy so it doesn't always work out. She also mentioned Oga has been playing MHW lately too, so she would like to play together as well if it's possible.

Q: I really love Fubuki-chan a lot, but I sometimes get lonely all of sudden. What can I do to feel better in these kind of times?

She says this feels really relatable to her and this also happens to her sometimes. This also happens sometimes with friends, she's close to a lot of people like Mio, the rest of Gamers, Bakatare Circus or Micomet, but there are also times where she suddenly feels really lonely and realizes she hasn't been hanging out with (some of) them much lately and then she also feels like she doesn't really know what to talk about with them or what to do with them and stuff like that. She likes to hug a stuffed toy when she feels like that and just drown out these bad feelings and distract herself with other fun stuff she loves doing until the feeling passes. That's just what human emotions are like, sometimes you feel like that for no particular reason. In times like these, one is prone to feel like one's feelings are in the way and it's easy to get frustrated at one's own feelings, but it's important to realize that it's fine to feel like this once in a while and accept oneself.

Q: Are there any plans for future 1kisei events?
She mentioned the 1kisei anniversary is coming up very soon and sort of implied they might do something for that. If you don't remember, they announced a while ago that instead of every member getting their individual anniversary live, from here on out anniversaries will be handled by generations, so that's probably what she was referring to. She obviously couldn't give any details. But other than that, they have nothing official in the pipeline for the time being. They do want to collab more, they had some plans to do it on a regular basis this year but that obviously got derailed by the Mel thing, but they want to get back to that eventually. They did have the Mahjong tournament thing yesterday, though! She then said that even if Mel is no longer a member, 1kisei needs to keep going for her sake and do her part a well. Even if Mel is not around anymore, they will always keep Konkapuing deep within their hearts. She hopes that she is doing well in the demon realm, it's not like she's dead or anything, she just went back home.

Anon I don't get how you could listen to that stream and come on thinking this way. Mococos throat was run so ragged that by the end she was almost to the point of her voice breaking just to sustain he extremely trivial voice moeification and super trivial pitch change. When somebody is that close to the point of having their voice break in normal conversation after only a short stream and well before they were through all their SC, it's very clear that they are fucking exhausted physically. And you could hear that this in their voices from the very start. How did how frazzled they sounded not come through to you when it was so obviously present from the outset?
> the SC just turned into them saying "Oh there's a light a little far away at the end of the tunnel"
They were saying similar stuff at the start too, they were just both more frazzled and didnt go as hard until SC came around. But I don't get this either. How did how you not realize that Fuwamoco desperatepy reassuring themselves almost every 5 fucking minutes that they'll get past this not worrying to you? You could tell they fucking needed desperately this stream for their own sake based on how much they genuinely seemed to feel "better" because of it, even if they clearly exhausted the little energy they had and were absolutely fucking scatterbrained by the end?
Like listen to this this shit
https://youtu.be/5bQtlKKKDpU?t=6807
I actually got scared there because it sounded worryingly like a "talk" moment and I realized how it was just another instance of them trying desperately to cope mentally to themselves
They were giving different examples of the same thing throughout and the fact that by the end they could only focus enough to repeat the light at the end of the tunnel line as their only description just made it clear how even that shortish stream absolutely kicked out what little shit was left in them.
Think about it like this: They were reassuring over and over again for almost 2 hours. They were doing it constantly, and doing that was something they did while talking to us live. Now imagine what they'd he like when the stream is off. That doesn't feel like a very good mental image to me. I'm genuinely worried that they're literally at the cusp of a mental breakdown.
I have no idea what the fuck is involved in moving to Japan specifically, and I remember being drained whenever I move, but I don't remember sounding like I was at my fucking limit like they did both physically and mentally. And they have so much more lf this left to go still. Whatever pace they're doing whatever it is they're doing things sounds like it's already going to break them before they even get to the end of this. I just wish I knew what they were doing that was straining them to such an extent.

This is why I just don't take anything on the Internet seriously. It's also a level of narcissism granted by having a platform you wouldn't in a natural world. If perpetually online twitard/plebbit/4chan schizo types didn't have the Internet, people would shit on them to their faces whenever they're being sanctimonious and their perceived "truth" is brought down by people disagreeing with them to their faces. It's an environment of cowardice and the inability to accept being wrong, inability to be humble, inability to learn from and respect the rights other people have to their perspectives, provided their perspectives aren't libelous, slanderous, or just factually wrong. They would be forced to be humbled for basically being the village idiot when most people just don't care about the eggshells they want the rest of the village to walk on for the sake of their views. Being online perpetually exacerbates this condition in three ways:

1. Their perceptions are skewed when they perceive many people are in agreeance with them, when in reality they are simply in a bubble, because if they said half the shit they said online to people IRL, they'd get shot down by anyone who doesn't buy bullshit.

2. They lack the breadth of experience of living in the real world, where people don't have the time or energy to deal with moral grandstanding, as the problems they have to deal with are real problems, like familial health, financial stability, government overreach, etc, not some fight over some dumb Internet bullshit.

3. They become narcissistic because their skewed perception is given an aura of authority, because a loud, vocal minority will work with them to spread their message when most people in the real world just don't give a shit.

The reality is, most people just aren't as important as they believe they are, and the environments that have been fostered make them believe they are. The other reality is, people grandstand to look like they are good people, but if they really believed in a lot of the things they espouse, they would do their due diligence and realize that their world is built on hypocrisies they can't overcome. Nobody's going to pay twice the amount they do for their tech to have it sourced in a morally just manner, just as most people aren't going to stop watching entertainment because those that produce it in a lot of instances have dubious affiliations and funding Weinstein, Hollywood/Music Industry pedophilia and sexual abuse that people like Elijah Wood and Chester Bennington have talked about albeit muted, for example, most people aren't going to source their food from ethical sources as it's more expensive, and countless other examples. They are crusaders without a real cause, because all the real causes are just too hard to fight, and in lot of cases actually likely to put you and your loved ones in danger.

I honestly miss the 90's and my childhood. It's just the truth that it was better times in general for most people, my grandparents could leave their doors unlocked where they lived and not worry, we kids were give enough autonomy to just live and enjoy life, go out on adventures, see the world with our eyes and feel it with our hands, and make real connections with people. I remember when dial up would stop working whenever someone was on the phone, or setting up meetings with friends over the landlines. I remember when getting together and biking/skating to the arcade was something you'd just do all the time rather than just a novelty. I remember camping with friends, being actually excited whenever we got to visit and explore places. You can still do that today but the environment is so different with people, and most of my friends are old like me and have their own things they have to focus on, like their spouses and children, or taking over family businesses, etc. Those friends though? Still the people I talk to everyday. Still people I play games with when we have the time, still people I fly out to visit whenever we can make the time to spend together.

Sorry for my Ted Talk/Ojisan grumbling.

Don't talk to us about the things that are going on right now please. I don't care. I don't want to care. Those people destroyed me and destroyed my dreams and my endless hours of hard work. I don't want to be kind and selfless and wish the best for everyone anymore. Let me be selfish for a little bit. Let me not have to remember. Let me not have to think. Let me wish that we could've all left with the things we worked so hard to have, and let me just enjoy things with my sister without the crushing reminder that because we were treated like garbage, other people might be treated better. It doesn't feel good to hear those things. Those girls do deserve happiness. They do, and I know they're just chasing after their dreams as well. But I'm not a saint. I'm not perfect. I can't sit here and just be happy for everyone involved. I just can't. I'm sorry. I wish I could, but it's a cold, hard fact that if things turn around, it's because we were treated like shit and forced to abandon everything we built in order to save our sanities. It's because they got so much backlash for treating us like we were nothing and all the workplace abuse my friends and I suffered, that they're saying that they'll "turn things around." And if they really do, that's great. But it doesn't change the fact that things only will have gotten better because we were trampled first. I do hope that things change for the better. I hope those girls achieve their dreams and everything they hoped for, and I hope they find success. But I can't be happy for them. I hope they don't suffer like we did, but please don't expect me to be all happy and supportive of them. I can't do it. I'm only human. Let me be selfish. I've spent too long sacrificing myself to try and help save the people who looked at me like I was worth nothing. I'm done. I don't care. I wish I could, but it's a cold, hard fact that if things turn around, it's because we were treated like shit and forced to abandon everything we built in order to save our sanities. I'm sorry if you guys are disappointed in me.
I'm sorry I'm not endlessly kind and a good enough person to be happy for them. I really am sorry. I tried, but I couldn't.

>What is /wasp/?
/wasp/ is a thread for Female Vtubers to give and receive advice related to Vtubing

>Why /wasp/?
Men and women target different demographics and this thread is geared towards gender specific strategies to increase their numbers, and gain an audience.

>Can I self post and promote?
Sure, although we recommend you eventually leave this thread and this site. You will have your own community to care for soon.

>I'm not really new to streaming/ vtubing, it's ok if I post here?
This is the advice thread ma'am, just ask. We also help with redebuts and rebranding.

>I'm just a lowly viewer but I want to help my oshi grow. Can I ask here?
Go ahead, but remember to ask for her consent for sketchy stuff ( like 4chan ads)

>"I am X vtuber and I have to say Z girl is an schizo/bitch/liar! Read my Tweetlong..."
Since it's technically off-topic, we would ask you kindly to take that to back to /asp/, if you must talk about it at all. It will be better for viewers if feuds between vtubers are never made public, nor /here/ nor in twitter. Hold a facade for the sake of the children, your fans deserve better. No one likes it when the mommies fight.

You can have a crush and not be a unicorn. I've definitely got a big crush on her, one and she's got a weird kind of magic in being able to not trigger a jealousy-response in me. She can talk lewd with men all day and it doesn't come off as real flirting.
I think maybe it's because, when you watch her, her primary goal always seems to be to keep an atmosphere of fun going, with maybe a secondary goal of looking for collab partners.

At the end of the day, it's always important to remember that your chances with her are so small that you should round them to zero, she probably wouldn't like you like that, and she's probably in a relationship (over the weekend, she said something like "if you're a millennial and you don't have kids yet, WTF are you doing? and it made me wonder if she's already got a kid)

>hololive more for being a gamer than idol activities
thats part of the idol journey baybeeeeee
i think its very apparent she's grown to love and enjoy the idol side a lot more and pursuing more idol activities, its actually insane to see her growth and change from years ago to now....
and i also feel that way towards my lamy-chan too, she's come so far... her holofes5 performance, being the first to perform on stage 4 is so impressive... i remember when she would talk about being insecure about her voice ahhhh
all of nepolabo has been growing i love theeeeeeeem
