But Laplus did bring it into hololive. It was her persistence that caused management to cave and let some of them join VCR at the end of 2022. And in 2023, male collabs exploded in the JP branch with many of the same people involved with VCR.
Before Laplus, the only JP holos that regularly collabed with males were Towa and Matsuri and occasionally Fubuki with holostars. But last year saw a huge increase in male collabs even among members that either rarely did it or never did it like Mel.
Aki and Botan completely pivoted their content towards 90% male collabs and now even Ayame and Koyori are collabing with males.
It was because of Laplus getting closer to CR and demanding management let them bring them into hololive. Laplus is by far the worst hire they ever made.

Ive watched Niji JP as well but none of those define him as a professional. Hes just a good vtuber as an entertainer like other talented Niji males. Also this is different from Subaru who was collabing with Maimoto and doing stupid and funny shit. Her first collab with Maimoto was supported by FBK and she also got Ui involved in it and she was collabing hard with holomems as well.

Regloss somehow tends to not see Hololive as their home. Only Hajime, and maybe Kanade, have aggressively tried to get along with senpais. Idk why they prioritise non Holo vtubers over senpais despite not spending with their senpais even one year. I wasnt expecting so much from Regloss but their disinterest in Hololive is pretty surprising. -Cover tried organizing a Mario Maker tournament, but nobody was interested so they made Pekora organize it instead.
-They've tried to push Nene into branching out and play FPS games.
-They tried to make Miko take part in the Holizontal OW homo collab, but Miko told them to fuck off.
-Everyone who took part in that collab said they only did it for the money. Some had to reassure their fans that there would be no homo interactions.
-Ririka was pressured into playing on the GTA ERP server filled with male e-celeb sex pests. She also got sexually harassed on said server, to absolutely nobody's surprise.
-Homos advertised on the main Hololive channel during events, which forces the girls to either acknowledge them or face backlash from antis.

When she first started, I saw plenty of people that were saying she's gonna be the next Pekora, but it's obvious that's not what she wants. It's about time anons admit that as long as you're in Hololive, you're guaranteed to succeed regardless of how good or bad your content or personality are.
