I watched 28 Days Later for the first time yesterday. I thought it was ok. Some parts were a little slow but not terribly so. I didn’t really like how the message was “humans are worse than monsters” because I feel like that’s really overdone, but it gets a slight pass since it’s older. I also didn’t really like the ending, I feel like the movie was trying too hard to show how the mc has become more of a killer - but it came off too unrealistic. I really enjoyed the beginning, how alone and helpless it makes you feel, and how the first zombie is encountered by the mc. The makeup was really good too. Zombies looked very scary. I’m excited to watch 28 Weeks Later next.
