Well I would like a discussion about how I prefer single player modes in fighting games rather than the multiplayer. I grew up playing arcade ladders and seeing the stories or playing through, "Choose your own adventure" modes like in Soul Calibur 3.
Don't get me wrong, I love the competitive aspect and still want to be like Daigo at times, but goddamn I've been missing the comfy part of a lot of fighting games for awhile. I am more excited to play SF6's world tour than the online. I am more excited to play Virtual Frontier than the online. Hell, I only play Persona 4 Arena for the single player content. I hope more fighting games bring back some of the refreshing single player side instead of just arcade modes and a shitty story mode. Or at least give us cheesy CGI scenes at the end of an arcade mode instead of a still screen.
