As far as I recall there were like two twitter posts he made that indicate his reasoning though they didn't say much. It seems he didn't think cover was all that competent of a company and didn't like the way they handled things. The two twitter posts as I recall were first during the permissions crisis, that was a comment about that being the sort of shit he was leery about, then during the drama with Mizuryu Kei about the Marine manga for hololive alternative about he felt cover did business. I don't remember the details that well though, but I recall that there wasn't much detail available, and I recall that his issues were about how cover did things, and that he didn't want to be apart of it.

I don't remember that one that well. Miko (I think ?) and Marine were in an off collab and as a prank, one hid a doujin in the fridge for the other to find. They talked about it and kinda made fun of it ? It got identified from the content by viewers and then doujin author went into a frenzy about his "work" (a fucking trashy porn doujin for fujo ffs) was disrespected and the like.
