This is true. I am one of those Champs that likes to commit donations to specific things. While I have donated quite a bit through streamlabs over the years, I really would like to have the option to put it toward specific things she needs or wants.
Both of us get what we want that way - she can still have the money go toward the stuff she planned on buying anyway, and I get that itch scratched of buying things for someone I care about rather than just throwing cash at them.
Although, if Throne takes a bigger cut than streamlabs, I would still lean toward cash donos, I suppose. I am glad that she finally decided to open a Throne account, though. I agree that it's more likely to bring in more donations overall rather than just redirecting funds since some people are just more inclined to gift certain things than donate straight cash.
