We're probably never going to know. We can make an educated guess that Omega was inspired by the seeming success of Luxiem and was clumsily trying to copy Nijisani EN's formula and turn Holostars EN into "the next Luxiem." Part of this strategy, of course, would be using the female streamers to boost Holostars ratings and "shipping" them with the Holostars.

So there's really only two ways this could have gone down: Either Omega forced them to do everything, or else some like Mori and Kronii went along enthusiastically (and developed an "pwn le haters/chuds/incels" mentality) and only stopped when Omega got kicked out and Jap reined them in or when they saw what was happening to their numbers, or both. We'll probably never know exactly what happened, because Hololive runs a much tighter ship than Nijisanji and the talents generally don't seem inclined to throw the company under the bus.

Remember for a ton of these talents, their social circle is mostly Twitter creatures, and Hololive and its fanbase is held in total disdain by those people (because a lot of them are ultra-toxic femcels, and there's no group they despise more than male nerds). Many of them probably believe that they can use male nerds to get rich and popular, and then reach a takeoff point of such popularity that they'd be able to do whatever they wanted and ditch the disgusting nerds that they themselves hate and all their friends make fun of them for courting.

Omega was able to hold on longer than he should have because Myth initially surged so strongly when it was introduced, and everything seemed to be going very well. It was only when he ruined Council and when Holostars flopped and when the EN vTubers began complaining did Cover corporate take a closer look at how he was running things, and by then he'd done severe damage to the branch. Another year and HoloEN might have started to see a graduation parade like NijiEN.

The anons who actually watch them are sometimes annoyed by the frequency of some of them, because having too many on their channel means they can't just skip the occasional one off and continue enjoying CGDCT.
The sentiment becomes worse if they have MORE collabs with homos and outsiders compared to holo collabs.

The only ones that get outright HATE are people like Ollie (who drag other holos into their begging ways) or Kronii (who backstabbed her fanbase).

Others get shitposts due to their "runt" status or whatever, but that's no different from every other holo that gets shitposted here, nothing to do with homo collabs.

Unlike most social media, this thread has a wide variety of people watching many different holos at any one time. And most of them aren't here 24x7, we only visit when our oshi streams or if there's some fun news/horserace/yab or whatever.

Generalizing is usually a retarded thing to do, but it's much more pronounced to generalize anons in this thread in particular. You will simply be laughed off the thread and have to go into twitter or something to seethe about stuff you have zero clue about.
