It's literally fucking start up 101 in pretty much every industry. You do not start a business in a competitive and frankly oversaturated market without capital and a willingness to spend it.

Yes, it is by definition a company's job to make sure they don't go out of business. It's their job to find quality talent, it's their job to tard wrangle them, it's their job to promote them, and it is their job to supply them with what they need and to some degree want. If they hire some boring ass menhera that demands nothing less than Hololive tier 3D concerts every week, and it goes terribly wrong, that is the fault of the company for hiring them.

I mean it'd help, sure, but that is far from being an absolute. There are countless examples of wildly famous and successful people all that are untalented and shit at what people inexplicably pay them to do. Anyone can become big if they know how to sell themselves, and it's the company's job to sell their talents.
