I think he could focus on the "Let's Chat" part of the stream, for me that was always the best. When he started out, when he inclined so fiercely, it was because he was doing campfire streams in the snowy [taiga biome] forest. These were comfy as fuck. At some point he turned to crass appeal, doing raunchy fanservice. And it worked of course, but the problem is the novelty wears off. What keeps people is the sense of friendship you can offer, not so much the gags. When you focus on building a relationship with viewers, they tend to stick around a lot longer, and over time it stacks and stacks until you have a wild CCV. Gags, in my opinion, are more like a revolving door. It's a magnet for new people, but if they're not staying around too long, then the CCV will tank. It's also more fulfilling and human to have real relationships. I think he'll start appreciating his work again if he does that. Realness is by far his biggest strength.

Basically, take a step back before taking a step forward, focus on what previously worked, then take a new path from there.
