They're not(I'm in/#/ daily since july2021), but it can simply be explained by the fact that HoloFes3 arrives so she needs to do some of her singing and dance reps, compared to the Nijigirls who don't have any big project at the moment, as far as I know.
Shit game choices and I feel like her streams aren't long enough for her lately to gather more viewers than she used to have.
Add to that the fact that HoloEN hasn't been cured of the CCVID yet, you get these numbers.
NijiEN girls also are under the effect of CCVID(not NijiEN males though, which mostly explains their current numbers among other things), but not as much as HoloEN or HoloJP are. I'd say HoloEN>HoloJP>NijiEN girls>>>NijiEN boys for the CCVID

NTA, I’m the one with the Gura stats, the leading theory about ccvid/culls is that viewers are getting flagged for whatever reason it may be, becoming what’s essentially a shadow viewer. We did see this during the Gen 3 graduation vod. It’s 90% likely that it was well over 200k, but the massive amounts of spam and already existing viewers “flagged” by the system led to YT being unable to verify everyone. That’s why you had a 160k waiting room and ended with 90k viewers or something. It just happens that EN viewers still seem to be flagged because it’s purely any stream that centralizes around an EN audience that never seems to have the right live numbers.

Verification is a different story though. Most speculate that because their accounts are set to JP that YT has a harder time processing Western viewers and it takes considerably more time to meet various things like waiting rooms or peaks, and when vods finish it takes at least 2 hours to see any development and 4 hours to see it start to finish up with the bulk of views. Gura’s usual streams take like 7-10 mins to meet waiting room for example, but her karaoke recently broke it in 3 mins. And as you can guess, her karaoke broke 30k viewers. It’s a pattern you see when tourists/JP viewers come into stream. Things just go quicker

It’s always hard to say because of how Gura’s such an anomoly with vods, but basically as someone pointed out last thread, -every- time Gura has streamed alongside Pekora for an event, no matter the ccv Gura has always done better on that day and the days following. Gura was down like 20-30k in avg ccv during the summer festival yet still had more views than Pekora.
We’ve been arguing a lot about ccvid or culls, but these are clear examples as to why people even bring it up. Because we already know Pekora is gaining a fuck ton of eyes on her anyways, that’s why she’s the top JP vtuber, so the argument about tourism is never a great one when comparing both. Also, Gura ALWAYS compares perfectly with Pekora regarding live chat and tonight was no different. Her chat speed was practically on par with Pekos despite the insane ccv difference. So with all that in mind, if Gura’s vod eclipses it tonight you can be 100% sure that something is wrong with the live counter, if it wasn’t obvious already
