As a long time MGS fan and borderline boomer, I've seen some shit. And that shit makes me believe Kojima x Konami issues are fake news they created in order to leave the expectations of the finished product in suspension. I also believe they do this to let Konami try to experiment with developing games on their own (MG Survive) without too much backlash from the general public blaming Kojima.
Kojima x Konami have always had a close bond- almost like mentor and students. I mean, it even fits with the theme of "passing down what we know and experience to the next generation since we will all inevitably die" and "reality not always being what it seems but rather an illusion" (MGS2 & MGSV {moreso GZ} are tied for my all time top favorite lalilulelo ).
I can't see any animosity between them being real. Konami had no problem plastering Kojima's name all over every credit sequence in the entire game. I think the idea was to split to make Kojima Productions, so HK could catch up with other projects (DS, other games, & movies) that would make KP a powerhouse alongside Konami, essentially creating a shared monopoly between the two. At this point KxHK are probably so close that when the topic of contracts and paperwork come up, both parties are like "Meh, let's just focus on the game. I have a genuine respect for you. In all these years we've not been shady to each other, and we've made greatness because of it, so I trust you." Their relationship is different from your average everyday cutthroat company *cough* *cough* NijiHoloVsho *cough*. These days Kojima is super lax posting food, SoL, and BTS photos on his Twitter. I'm sensing a pattern here that is recurring. Mark my words. The MGS3 remake will have "secret, uncredited" staff.

tl;dr: The internal drama between Konami and Kojima is a ruse. Hideo Kojima will work on MGS3 with Konami. Pomu will not only not be disappointed, but she will cum.

Ground Zeroes is a misunderstood masterpiece. It was shit on for nothing by reactionary sensationalists, and reception suffered for it. I still love Venom the most tho. SPOILER: The fact that you, the protag of the final game, play as the as the antag, OFFICIAL Outer Heaven Leader/final boss of the first game is still one of the greatest plot twists ever done to this day, and no I didn't predict that Ishmael was John for good reason.

Smothered in cutscenes all for the retcons to not be subtle. Fairly minor complaint. I feel like the feeling of existential dread was captured flawlessly regarding Dave's accelerated aging.

The only two things that kinda mess with the games canon is that Sokolov is alive (and I mean it's a MG game, people have come back from worse than being killed off screen) and the game ends with Big Boss getting rich, but PW starts with them being poor again. Other than that, I think Kojima disowned it simply because he was in a phase where he was on his high horse about being a creator. Also, Portable OPS is shown in MGS4, mentioned at the start of PW, and I think mentioned on a tape in MGSV. So far almost every MGS streamer except Jets and Macolops (irl game player) have skipped it, despite it not being bad at all.

Lazulight was definitely going to be going to Japan around this time for AR Live. Back in early January, Pomu said she would be going out-of-town in February, and after the AR Live was announced, she said the AR Live work was why she wanted to complete MGSV before February.

Pomu only did MGS on 3, sometimes 4 Saturdays a month, out of a normal 25 streams a month. She only did that week of MGSV a couple weeks ago so she could finish the game before February, since she'll be having to go to Japan at an undetermined time to work on the AR Live, and doesn't want to leave it hanging. You defaulting to her streaming it so much to "kill her channel", shows that you don't actually watch her.
