The reason that JP isn't going to shit together with NijiJP is because of Aqua's return, pulling 40–60k per stream, but she's already at the 20k line. Which caused them to recline again, but were saved by recent Pekora sus graphs.

As far as I know every big stream will eventually recline and when they do they always lean more into sponsorship and collab deal. Basically "selling your brand" kind of thing
