Quick summation, vrchat sperg and perv roflgator wanted a piece of her numbers when she used to frequent his venue with other vtubers. So put her up to trying to get a mute featured as part of her streams. Her community and us saw through it and went hard on him for doing it, he took it deeply personal and further alienated Layna and Filian and they both left his vrchat dive. Roflgator has shown all the traits of a severe form of personality disorder and has been here since for at least two years. Sperging out at the main poster who called him out in the first place by idiotically created gatorschizo as a straw man and excuse to stalk posters with urges to self-terminate for over a year. Despite already being that low, their mental health has continued to decline since then and they still stalk posts as being from gatorschizo and seethe about Filian and Layna to the point of pathological obsession. Most recently having a major melty during Filian's wrestling stream commentary segment. Last but not least, Grimmi was scheduled to appear on one of his more recent date night streams and she backed out but that indicates that he and Seth know each other.

Put it this way, I could see it also having been the way Filian acted during the shared irl stream when they were staying together. Even then though, it seemed more like Layna wanted a break after that and not to quit being friends with Filian but there are clear indications that Layna would have been put off by Filian associating with them again. She mentioned herself that she wouldn't involve herself with them anymore, which makes me wonder what else might have gone on behind the scenes. She implies that she could go into more detail on the subject, maybe she even knows that roflgator frequents here. Thinking back to Mute drams, we were the ones who criticized the concept before she tried to have one on stream and I get the sense both from how it made no sense for her stream and how she acted when she pitched it that roflgator put her up to it. It fits that he'd spiral into extreme obsession and resentment over that not having worked out and the result being that it totally back-fired for him. Furthermore, the fact that someone went so hard in on creating an alter-ego of gatorschizo for the purpose of gaslighting, defaming and mocking those arguing that he does fuck around here and holds a vendetta against Layna, Filian and /lig/ speaks volumes.

Roflgator is the most popular VRChat streamer which gives him a lot of pull in the VRChat community due it being an entirely social game like Second Life. This causes many in the VRChat community to suck up to him and work under him so that they can increase their own popularity and get with the "in" group. Roflgator puts this social power to use by having people (mostly males) roleplay as sexy voiceless anime girls called "mutes". He then uses the allure of these mutes to convince other, larger streamers to play VRChat where he then acts as their tour guide throughout the game. During this process he woos his streamer guest with both the novelty of VRChat combined with the coombaiting of the mutes to get in that streamer's good graces. The larger streamer then tells all of their streamer friends about what a good time they had in VRChat, and they all go to Roflgator to get the same tour, with Roflgator siphoning viewers from these streamers all the while. Eventually Roflgator exhausts all of the streamers in a certain community so he moves on to another community. For simplicity we'll call this entire process a "crusade".

Roflgator has launched multiple crusades throughout his time as a streamer. One with the Austin streamers, one with the GTA roleplayers, one with the "W community" (zoomers), and one with the VTubers, our chuubas. However, his crusade against the VTubing community was cut short because he was burned by both Layna's community and Bao herself. Layna was deep in the VRChat sauce and acquired a "mute" herself, which her community deemed to be a form of slavery due to their treatment as second class citizens that can be owned and traded like Pokemon. This disagreement with her community soured her on the idea of mutes and collabing with the VRChat community in general. In Bao's case, there was a scheduling mishap and Bao opted to do the collab she scheduled with the whoreclan rather than the one she scheduled with Roflgator, bringing him to the brink of tears live on stream. These two events happened on the same day, and since then Roflgator has not tried to advance through the VTubing community (at least publicly).

Oh yeah, well let me show you something I've dug up. I have no doubt that It's Roflgator himself who gave the name of Gatorschizo for that ligger. It's typical narcissistic behavior to accuse someone else of being mentally-ill in order to gaslight and marginalize them and it's because they advocated for Layna acting out of misunderstanding when she tried to add a mute to her stream. From her perspective I think she was just making friends. She thought: "Hey, I have these VTuber friends and I have these VRChat friends and I have this new friend who's mute and does all these cool tricks and has this unique culture surrounding her and other mutes like her, so let me try and show off this culture to my community and my VTuber friends so maybe they can get into it and we can all be one big happy family". It wasn't until she had that conversation with her community and us that she realized that the mute "culture" was basically subservience. Though even after everything, she still saw the mute Groovy Tuesdays as a friend and not a pet like how the rest of the VRChatters see mutes. The day Layna had the above conversation with her chat, Bao was scheduled to be the star of a date night event on Roflgator's channel. But she was also doing a collab with Numi and I think Yuzu earlier that day. The thing is, one of them had to cancel because of health problems with their dog, and the collab started hours later than planned, so it ran into the timeslot where Bao was supposed to be at date night. Not wanting to leave her remaining collab partner alone, she messages Roflgator something about a dog having to go to the vet which prompts him to almost cry on stream.

alright bros. I have a rrat. Lemme know if this sounds plausible or not or if I'm full-on schizoposting but I've got no one else to run this by so here it goes:

Layna has been feeling exceptionally isolated in New Zealand and has stated multiple times that she really wants to settle down, get married, and have kids. She's also stated that in New Zealand it is incredibly hard to meet people and she's felt super alone.

She does a short collab with a VRChat mute streamer and they get along really well. Layna talks about how mutes in VRchat are basically a different kind of Vtuber for a more niche audience (which I agree with) and wants to start hanging out with them more and their friends.

This sens me down the VRC streamer rabbit hole as I found the mute concept interesting. There are many VRC streamers that are super talented and entertaining, but they often don't get more than 100 views tops with only a few people being exceptions. Since the community is so small they let me into their discords and I've had some private convos with some VRC streamers and have become internet friends with a few of the smaller personalities.

A trend keeps emerging where none of them feel like they can grow without the support of Roflgator, the head of the Golden Gator crew. He hosts RP lobbies in vrchat and streams them where mutes and non-mutes play different characters and improv scenarios.

here's the deal...rob is, in my estimation, one toxic motherfucker. He and a few others are constantly farming drama in their friend group pushing people in and out and basically vaguely threatening to sideline them in these RP streams (which often have anywhere from 1.5-4k) viewers. He even convinced a mute to stop partnering with another streamer during their mute shuffle event with the promise that he would "let her into the lobby if she would stop collabing with another streamer and help him farm subs." He's said on stream that he loves drama and farms it and stirs shit up for content so that he can get views. Overall he seems super insecure and manipulative and is constantly having fights with this whole group. A group that layna is now spending a lot of time with. A group that is also pretty infamous for having what amounts to VRC orgies weekly on what they call "degen night."

Layna has another stream about 3 weeks ago where she breaks down on stream crying about how isolted she feels, how she's been the target of abuse multiple times in her life (which is 100 percent true and is super shitty). And how she's been mocked for wanting to be a mother by people on line (also super shitty). She also tweeted about considering moving out of NZ to find a spouse to settle down with.

Now fast-forward to tonight and Layna is acting pretty fucking out of character. She seems a bit cold, she's been drinking quite a bit, she doesn't even seem like she's having a good time honestly. She's blatantly acting sexual for subs even before she gets into VRChat. She's belittling chat and just feels off. As a longtime Layna viewer, I could see other long-term subs commenting in chat about how everything felt weird tonight. She's clearly going to degen night (she mentioned meeting fillian there) and shows off her VRC tracking first with a catgirl avatar that has a fucking leash on it. She frustrated tells chat to "calm down" even though she's been blatantly baiting subs with sexual content and is clearly showing off an ERP avatar on stream. She then shows off another version of her OC which is also clearly and ERP avatar before switching to her typical VRC avatar before telling chat many times to just "let her do this for once" and that she "just wants to party."

What's my rrat? Layna has become exceptionally insecure, fears being alone, and has decided to start finding the attention she craves in VRC coomer that reside in an extremely emotionally manipulative community run by figures who farm that manipulation for drama on purpose and Layna is trying to bring some of that energy on stream to farm subs but probably more so to feel wanted and desirable. This will continue and it will feel weirder and weirder for longtime viewers until she is caught in the web of the Golden Gator crew who stiffle their own creative potential because they are enmeshed in an unhealthy emotional system where they only hang out with people that they are either 1. fighting with in drama or 2. fucking on degen night.
