V&U stands for "Virtual and Universe." It also means "VTuber and You." V&U is an agency that operates in South Korea, but their talents are encouraged to speak English. They are not limited to speaking Korean and Japanese.

NTA but I can think of two:
Sara Nagare is a sweet Aussie girl, stuck in Prism though so she's basically doomed.
There's also Serafina, but she's a Chinese vsinger. Good luck watching her outside of song covers. A damn shame too, because her model is everything I could ask for in an Egyptian styled chuuba.

Unfortunately it was the only other workable option at the time. Tsunderia was doomed due to one manager doing all the heavy lifting while the owner let the corporation languish, Prism while it has some good talents wouldn't go anywhere, Phase was smaller than it was now and Pippafans still make up the bulk of the audience, and Idol didn't even have its EN branch where some talents would at least do way better than some Nijis.
Plus, after Myth it's easy to assume Hololive's standards would grew too high to where most people applying would not get in. Meanwhile, Niji also did the same thing but to where they view numbers as merit. Pomu, Selen and Rosemi probably wouldn't get in nowadays.

I'm seriously impressed how well Idol has been doing as a company lately. I thought they were doomed when the Israeli branch, while being secret EN VTubers and enjoyable enough to watch, usually struggled to crack 50, I decided not to get too attached to them because I figured they wouldn't last long. Then they debut this English branch and apparently they've been promoting it really well because it has quickly become a pillar of English VTubing. They're blowing away corpos like Prism and Kawaii who have been at it for years, nevermind the tiny ones you've never heard of which seem quaint at this point. I dunno how they managed to recover so well after such a rocky start but I have a lot of respect for it, I'll definitely give them more of a shot since it seems like they'll be sticking around a long time.

Cyberlive let 3 of their initial talents leave as part of their contracts. Prism has had one early graduation from their latest gen. Kawaii also lost a talent in each gen relatively soon after debut. Stellux(literally who) basically just imploded within a couple of months. I don't think anyone here even knows what Tomopulse is so they're probably doomed too. The only company that seems to be doing alright is Phase, having poached 2 of the aforementioned Cyber girls.

With Tsunderia and Phase both being allies and both showing they're okay with poaching talents and having decent contracts, could prism talents be in danger of being poached?
