Laplus is very hated on by nips. Denying this is just proves you’re an EOP. As of the reasons she’s hated, well, she’s done everything in the books to be massively disliked, both as a person an as an idol.

People who say she’s not hated are just either trolls or subhumans. She IS hated a lot by the nips and the fact she went from having the highest numbers on that 3D reveal to having the lowest numbers on her anniversary all this while having an amazing time slot (unlike koyori, chloe or iroha).
Keep in mind this site is not a good place to discuss JP vtubers: no one here speaks japanese. I do speak it and only come here from time to time but overall you won’t get Japanese speakers in any hololive thread nor vtuber board.

Most people trash-talking towa are subhumans. You can dislike male collabing but you can't just dismiss everything she does because she plays games with guys openly because she's a tryhard tomboy (she even does this on her free time using her fucking holo account. People put way too much weight on management when it's literally always been the talent's decision to approach people at their discretion. When HoloX debuted they all followed Holostars on twitter (probably done by management), so Shien and Aruran ended up replying to Laplus probably thinking it might be okay to approach her, but they got ignored. Since then they've never approached again.

because she works for a company I like and such company's current culture is focused on idols and people trying to overcome themselves and become idols. This culture wasn't forced by Cover. It was brought by holomems. Back in the day Pekora announced she wasn't gonna collav with males and other members like Miko also announced it. Subaru was groomed by Luna since Luna is also pretty heavy on that route, kanatan is literally gachikoi of an irl idol and she's very schizo about it too... I could spend all day giving examples of this but the main point is that this was something the talents decide, it wasn't mandated.
