Norio did another update on the ongoing NoriPro audition so I tried translating it again. Timestamps included.

21:46 10 applicants have been marked as absolutely want. 25 applicants have been marked as really good. (For reference, previous update was 1 absolutely want and 2 really good)

There was a pretty interesting stream from Norio yesterday about the ongoing NoriPro audition. I tried my hand at translating and summarizing it with timestamps if anyone wants to double check it. To note, the audition is for creators and not people who specialize in talking/playing games/singing,

12:28 Slightly more than half the applicants were male. Theories it may be because there aren’t as many male vtuber auditions to apply to as many are female only.

In fact, not every company even has a party cell - because true to fashion for how the real world works, the CCP (like most other places) has far less control and presence than some would actually think they do, because certain levels of pervasive presence is literally impossible.
