Level your speakers, get a bigger TV and plug in those consoles so you can actually play them, you neat man, you.

Also I have had that same switch for about 15 years.

Hi /vr/,

I've never played Alone in the Dark: the New Nightmare for PS1, but someone in a thread here brought it up and it caught my eye.

Is it worth playing? Also idk how you guys feel about streams here, but if I stream it in a little bit would you watch it?

You might as well emulate at that point.

Really? I found feathers to get dull very quickly.

Tugged at my face after a couple of shaves.

What's the difference between all the different types of the same brand anyway? I haven't noticed much of a difference between any of the ones I've been trying from the sample pack.

Because they would have to render and probably even redo all the 2D assets. They might not even have all of the original resources anymore.

The background images look really poor and out of place when displayed at non original resolutions so they'd have to redo them.

That's why an HD remake of both RE and RE0 are unlikely. Which is fine because they still look fucking amazing on an SDTV

Resident evil 1, 2 and 3
Silent Hill
Metal Gear Solid
Final Fantasy Tactics
Age of Empires
Half Life
System Shock 2

I feel like if you haven't played all of these you aren't really a gamer so they're pretty damn important.

Snake just ends up drowning without a Game Over SNAKE? SNAKE! SNAAAAAKE! screen.

I'm playing Metal Gear Solid right now and ran into a bizarre, kind of annoying glitch.

When I enter the Blast Furnace, it seems like the level doesn't load correctly. I don't recall if there should be enemies, but it's completely empty, items are in inaccessible places and the weirdest part is that I fall through and can walk around below the level.

I can get back into the lower level of the room, but as soon as I step out of bounds, Snake drowns in what I assume is supposed to be lava, but I get no game over screen.

I can't find any info online and the only way to get out of this is to reset the console.

I'm playing it on a PS2 slim.

Very odd. Has anyone heard of this happening?

Some of the textures were ass, framerate was inconsistent and no AA.

Not that MGS fares any better, but there is ten year, 2 generation difference after all.

That still doesn't change the fact that after the useless install, the game still runs inconsistently and looks bad.

After seeing all those pre release vids, I was so pumped for a polished example of what the PS3 could do, but was instead disappointed by a turd.

Just beat psycho mantis and goddamn I'm having fun. The pacing is quicker than I remember Twin Snakes being.

Basically. They do overdo it with the cutscenes and codec sequences in all of them, but four takes the cake.

Well did you like the game? Did you have fun? How about you talk about that you silly maggot.

I was pleasantly surprised by this game. I try not to listen to hype and expect too much from highly praised games.

I've never played through the original, but damn. I just beat the ninja and it's fun!

I beat Twin Snakes on GC almost a decade ago, MGS2 and MGS3 several years ago.

I like how the story is just the right mix of ridiculous and serious. It has an insane, masochistic ninja, bondage psychics, nano machines, BUT still talks about the lurking dangers of nuclear warfare.

Is it me or has the series been getting progressively wackier with each installation? David Hayter has been getting more and more raspy, acrobatics are more and more ballet-like. Cut scenes longer and longer. I can't be imagining that right? Playing the original just made it very obvious.
