The stats are more or less the same, but the base damage is increased, and of course, no reloading. the BR will be much better at long range, but isn't as ammo efficient.

And yeah, there's a tooon of bugs kicking around in the public version, it's quite horrifying how many I'm aware of by this point.

Chaingun has a base damage of 6, 40 shots, a spread of 6 x 2 degrees, and has a winddown after firing making it slightly more cumbersome.

Battle Rifle has a base damage of 5, 20 shots, a spread of 2 x 0.5 degrees, and no winddown, making it muuuuuch more accurate, as well as slightly easier to switch between. The reload is also somewhat faster.

Consider it a matter of personal preference, as well as being somewhat situational, as to which is better to use. They're kinda sorta meant to be balanced against each other.

One things for sure, with the next DRLA update, if people complain about the Combat Shotgun being useless, I'm just gonna laugh in their face. It was already pretty nice, and it got buffed and revamped for the next update, so it's super gud now.

No plans on altering the weapon limit.
Untested, but you theoretically shoooould be able to change it by altering RLWeaponLimit in the main Decorate file to whatever you want.
Hopefully.

The HUD is a seperate file because I originally thought it would make it easier to make custom huds for DRLA, and later on because aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa it burns both of these files are lovecraftian and combining them will unleash the king in arsenal

The face is just there as placeholder right now. And because people's reactions to it are hilarious. This is the statusbar hud, the fullscreen hud will still be there, with some modifications, but more or less the same.

Updated bottom half of the HUD.

When you select the inventory bar, the selected inventory part sticking out the right of the left box disappears to make room for it.

I was thinking that while the inventory bar is active, the left screen would also change to show what armor and boots you were wearing, and the right would show all the item counts and backpack type.

Whatcha think?

The middle part is where the keys go.

And stamina is used for melee attacks and double jumping. As there isn't really much in the way of melee right now, it's no wonder you didn't really know, heh.

I just noticed that the Ready state actually bleeds into Deselect, so you would just switch away from the Shotgun instantly.

Well, generally in my experience, if you can't pickup up a gun, it probably is missing a state. I'd have thought that wouldn't be an issue due to inheritance though.

Doubt it's the problem, but you didn't actually copy the FlashEpic states from the guns.

ACTOR LDSuperShotgun : LDWeapon
The LDWeapon part, change that to just Weapon, or SuperShotgun.
The name after the : is the inherited actor, that means that any of the properties, flags, states and stuff that the inherited actor had, they all go onto the new actor.

As LDWeapon is only defined in LegenDoom, it's throwing a fit.

With the LDBulletPuff, it'll default to BulletPuff anyway, but change it to BulletPuff to stop it spitting an error about that to you.

Also, if you want to stop a line from taking effect, put // before it. Anything on that line after // isn't processed, really, so you can put that before the shellspawning stuff instead of outright deleting it if you'd prefer. Same thing either way.

In multiplayer, if you don't specify a class in the commandline, it'll spawn you as whatever class you played as last, in singleplayer or multiplayer.

+playerclass Renegade or whatever in there will cause you to play as them.

And yeah, you can't change midgame, you'd have to restart to change.
