No problem, wasnt aure if you wanted to avoid damage albiet minor to the chassis so i hadnt suggested prying.
But since it is out itd probably be easiest to just remove the lock if u dont care if it there.
I wanted to keep it because the drawer has a tendency to open easily if not locked when moving the unit.

the 3 buttons are to turn off or on the corresponding color. The keys are a pain to come by i managed to find a guy in california, David Riddle, search David Riddle Company on ebay and he has a contact number to call and ask him if he has any more keys. i paid $5 for 2 keys shipping included. Which isnt bad, considering the key through sony use to be $50 a piece.

Ive shipped before twice actually and both only needed minor tuning when they arrived. No exterior damage either.

But thank you and same to you endeavours.

Hey i always forget the model numbers and or at the very least a direction to look. The mitsubishi 15khz or multisync monitors, basically the equivalents to the NEC xm29, what are they called or what are some model numbers to look for?
I can never remember them. I really should write them down somewhere.

Thanks for the info. Im going to prospect an fv300 tomorrow. Hopefully the picture is in decent shape. Though id trade it anyday for the fv310.
Needs to be specifcally a 27inch though or have some sort of stand if it a larger model cause my corner cabinet will only fit something up to 30" wide. And they decided to put the speakers on the side.
If I could buy a speakerless just monitor. I.E. one of thise NEC or Mitsubishi monitors id take it in a heartbeat but most of them Unicorns have been captured. I found one on a govt surplus site the XM29 not the plus model. But they never got back to me. I was trying to figure out how shipping worked when id have a company pick it up.
Also I prefer eternal sound anyway sounds better and i have speakers so I might as well use them.

The one the guy by me has also comes with the sony stand as well. Not that i need it. I have an oak corner entertainment center i plan on putting it in. Really wish it was a 310 though that voltage regulator can make quite a difference.

Also i cant seem to find much input but what are you alls thoughts on the fs320? I havent found one just asking for info about the model that may not be found in it owners manual.

and avoid the need to use scart connectors.

that table states that both the SNES and Gamecube would require the capacitors and the N64 requires internal modding regardless so Im ignoring that.

This does not answer my question at all. I would like to know where in his cable he would place the capacitors, because the point of his cable is to avoid the need to modify the console in any way.

In my case and i know quite a few others that frequent have switchers so we dont have to unplug things.
Therefore multi outs directly to the rgb via bnc connectors would be mote preferred if it existed, atleast for me.

Its all good it happens haha but overall its a nice quality set in my opinion. If you only need composite than ur good. Or if u want to endeavor into homebrewing and RGB cable then it can be used for that as well. The pinout is easy to find. I can post some links when i get home. On mobile atm.
