I like Milon's Secret Castle. It is a bitch if you don't have a guide on your first playthrough, but so are many other NES classics. Like both Zelda games and Metroid

Nah, I was talking about Japan to USA. I was just using UK as an example because someone I knew imported an Amiga CD32 to the US and fried it. Apparently the local voltage standard is the same from JP to US. Glad I don't live in Europe.

So, I had a thread going last night about Famicom recommendations. Well, now I need a bit of advice pertaining to the system when I buy it. Will the AC adaptor that comes with it work here in America, or does it have a special end on the plug? I'm only wondering because of issues I've seen people have with imported PAL systems. (different region, I know)

Flash Carts don't emulate.

Emulators replicate consoles, flashcarts play the ROM on actual hardware. It works like a regular game, but instead of reading the ROM from an eprom it's reading from an SD card. Or whatever other storage medium.
