I'll check it out, thanks.

Last one I used was Lubuntu, and it was pretty decent. I've used Ubuntu before and it wasn't as good.

2 speakers and a bag for carrying the loose stuff like the controller.

The knobs are audio. It's an amp with multiple outputs. I have to use it because these speakers are too low without.

Additionally:
I completely forgot about a severe problem with the OS on this harddrive. It's somehow fucked in that it runs much slower than it should, and has a ton of problems relating to permissions and whatnot. I'll definitely have to wipe it an put a new one on there, but I'm not sure what what Linux version would be best.

>>701787
Apparently it's incredibly easy. I'm gonna get one some day and make a proper handheld emulation machine out of it.

I'm thinking of having linux on this thing because lightweight non-stupid OS.
What's the best version to use, and can I use all the emulators I already have, or is there different things I should be doing?

Oh, I know. Fortunately. My father was an electrician as well as an audio and videophile. Half the stuff in this thing used to be his.

Only option I had that would work. It'll look better when I get it mounted and caged on the CRT.

To do something like what I currently have, it's really not that hard to do. When I get the CRT, it'll be more complicated, as I'll have a proper mounting system, better wiring and electronics work, and a way to dismount most of the stuff.

>>701238
B-but I don't have any duct tape. Which would be ugly imo, hence the packaging tape.

A CRT.
I'll find a non-functioning, but good quality one, and use it as the housing. I'll even wire everything to whatever existing buttons are there, and do my best to not use a shitton of zip-ties.
Probably got 100+ zipties on it currently.

I'm guessing it's due to the Xbox Wan reveal. Same shit as with the PS4.

It's also /v/-quality, which I didn't expect for some strange reason.

I've done the best I can with the materials I have available to me. I didn't get anything extra for this thing, it's entirely out of shit I had laying around, which was kind of the point.

>> No.700982 [View]

Shit, I got a better idea than wood paneling.
I'll get an old CRT preferably broken, gut it, and put this all inside it.

Time to start sifting through garbage again.

I spend my free time doing constructive things. This last weekend I planted some stuff around, including an apple tree and some tomatoes.

I cross-posted this on /g/ but holy shit those people are worse than /v/ and I will not be going there again.
Here's some more action.
