Ugh, fuck. My zero clearances bugged out at some point and now a section of my park is flickering.

You could just open it and find out?

Try doing a medium bend at the bottom of a massive drop. Worked for me.

Is the coaster running on maximum capacity? I.e. are the trains always full, and are there enough people to fill them or do they sit around the station waiting for passengers? If so, short of adding more trains, there's not much you can do to make more money from it.

If not, it's probably not the coaster's fault, but rather that you don't have enough people in the park. Building a few more cheap things (gentle and thrilling rides), and making sure you have all the shops/toilets etc. people need, should help. Keep your park rating high and people will keep coming.

Also, a fuckhueg coaster right off the bat is usually not the best approach, I've found. I recommend starting with one or two small to medium coasters and not building something massive until at least year 2.

Any chance of making the spooktober deadline Sunday night? The extra weekend would be massively helpful.

I'm getting kind of bored of the spooktober park ... maybe I should've stuck to a slightly smaller one.

Don't worry, I wasn't feeling attacked or anything. And in general, I would agree with you. Even with scenarios, I generally put special effort into making the parks pretty and realistic.

However, Extreme Heights is just a special case. Most realistic-style coasters just won't hit the required intensity. In fact, iirc, that orange Giga was consistently one of the most popular coasters in that park.

And you also can't just make the coasters eternally long, because even with my "retard-coaster" approach, space became an issue.

EH is one of my least favourite scenarios anyway, I'm glad it's sort of a one-off.

Have you ever played extreme heights? Even if your coaster has excitement 10 and intensity 7, guests won't ride it because it's too boring. You really need to artificially increase it to stupid levels.

And my park rating was fine. Hence why I beat the scenario. But thanks for trying to teach me what block brakes are for when clearly every coaster in that screenshot uses them.

Had to get the intensity up! There's a lot of that stupid shit going on.

I'm just having a look at this myself ... I like the lopsided cobra roll on the brown coaster in the top right. Also I seem to be going from the gentle incline after a large loop into a steep incline on the purple coaster towards the middle. And the long green straight line right at the centre bottom? That's the drop out of the station, not a lift hill...

You could always make it underground if you don't want it to ruin your aesthetics.

They're getting stuck there, and can't find the way out of the park. If you can connect a path from that square bit to the entrance, it should fix the problem.

No, I create a new numbered save every time. And I save often! Reloading the previous one fixed it. Not being able to use ZC will make the rest of the park harder though...

I can't seem to use zero clearance for my spooky park anymore... Everytime I deactive it, bits of my park are still flickering. Stays even if I reboot the game and reload. Any thoughts?
