The ps1 was dogshit when it came to controlling FPS's as the system was not originally built as a means to do so (aka the original controller).

The minute you need camera movement the system fucks you over and medal of honor was one of the first with actual camera movement (thou primitive it worked).

I remember that shit game as a fucking kid as when my brother got his PS2 this was one of the bargain bin games he got for it (when i was a kid the PS2 was already out since i was born in 98 and have no memory before 02).

That game was probably the biggest reason i hated the playstation as a kid.

I would not have gotten a N64 till about 2 to 3 years later due to being poor and would have kept on playing the SNES quite possibly collecting alot of the games when the stores were getting rid of them in the late 90's to early 2000's.

When it comes to N64 most of my games came from hollywood video or blockbuster far after the PS2 era (just right before the PS3 came out).

Subjective opinion as American arcades are harder to find as many of them went out of business the minute consoles could properly emulate the arcade.

Most arcades now are just claw machines on the beach however to classic retro places there are alot of 80's and 90's games for the spots were arcade games are avaliable.

That is because our arcade franchises are dead and now smaller companies with less money are the ones running the show.

Aside from chuck e cheese no one runs the arcade business via franchise any more at most a arcade will have a few locations but that is all.

Depends again on the arcade. I have had times were i had to move the seat to properly play a game or use them to hold my stuff.

When it comes to ebay prices alot of times people who sell games will turn to ebay and then demand their buy it now prices be paid for their game even when i could easily go on ebay and wait.

This shit is leeching over into the regular market so while i understand waiting for the best price alot of times fucks will price their shit at ebay levels off ebay (not the bids but the buy it now prices).

I have money i well i just do not like wasting it.

Why pay 50 bucks for a SNES game when i can just emulate it and use the money to buy more games on a different platform or even another system with?

I can afford 10 to 15 games (probably alot more in wholesales i am just going on game store prices) for 50 bucks so while pay it for 1 when i can get plenty of more games for my money?

Why spend a shitload of money for only a few games when i can spend less and get more games just for a different platform?

Do the original developers of the game make any money off of it by retro stores or resellers? if not then fuck it i am not putting alot of money in someones pocket if i am not supporting the creator of something.

Fuck supporting the scalpers and gamestop i prefer to support the developers by either buying my games new or buying them directly from them.

If i can't do it then i will not pay 50 bucks for a video game.

Playstation is the cheapest platform to collect for out of all of these. It is far better just to buy a playstation and get your 5 buck games rather then deal with the SNES or the Saturns collecting scene.
