This trilogy should be played by new players backwards (3 > 2 > 1) for best game experience.
Good series, originally encountered as a Pokemon bootleg called Pokemon Legends, did anyone else encountered that shit hack?
I got a copy of ff2 and ff3 but only latter one works. First game sure has creepy music.

One of the first and one of the few games with visible bugs for the GB.

SaGa series is imo the series with the most variation of weapons for the GB, though mostly on text.

The first game has an annoying problem that it's battles aren't random and sometimes outright predictable. As well as its riskier to grind since the death of your team would lead a game over. The other two games give you unlimited continues for much of the game at the very least.

Unlike the the other two games, you can play the first game with only one character, by not recruiting other characters to the team. Doing so results bugged names during in-game dialogues.

Personally I find the music of the first game to be sad and depressing. The other two games have music that sounds to me more "appropriate".

A famous bug from the first game is the SAW bug that allows you to 1 turn KO the final boss using said item.

Personally I don't like the game's depressing environment and toughness for being a first game in a relatively new console back at the time.

If you're a beginner, play the series in reverse order.

Also partially translated from Japanese to Hebrew, but still only a graphical change of most Israeli weapons and few Syrian ones. I wish I knew how to edit the text and stats though.
