some of my favorite FDS games are Electrician and Nazo no Murasamejou. The only reason I bought an FDS was to play Kaettekita Mario Bros. which is in my opinion the definitive version of the game on any console.

I own one, and the D pad makes it totally unusable. I replaced the rubber membranes under the d-pad with microswitches and it's 100 times better, but this is beyond the capability of the average consumer. avoid at all cost.
