Audio only it would work, you can load a Spectrum game off anything that has audio play back, even that guy from Police Academy if he could make the noise for long enough.
Ok maybe not

Theres an idea on my to do list.
Play an audio from a PS4 into a Spectrum

Just tried
Nope, LCD screen and all, maybe on a CRT it might.

Maybe if I rig up my Raspberry Pi to one of my CRTs and play it on that, but right now its to much hassle as its very dusty.

For the Action max there is a torrent about for all the tapes

I have three of these VHS machines
Two Action maxes (its so bad I got two), interesting thing is (ok not really) one came with a VHS the other came with a DVD leading me to believe it got a re-release in the early 2000s.
Also somebody has figured out how to make Homebrew for it
A Sega Tyco Video driver, with out the little car
Video challenger, the gun looks awesome and makes some cool sounds, cant be arsed to play it

Last time I had a stall at a gaming event I had a few £1 boxes filled with games and things of little worth (sports titles and the likes).
Made a lot of cash from it.
This was about 5 years ago, probably not viable now

Glad I got most of what when nobody gave two shits about retro and they wanted to get rid

That bloody store.
Know stores have overheads and that, but damn.
A guy claiming to be the owner came to one of my games nights and seemed to be a bit of a prick.
Last time I was in there they had an Intellivision for £100 without games
Rewind collectables in Ashton is far more reasonablie

I think they where called "Freeplay"
The middle parts changed colour over the years,
They had move and combo guides for games and the idea was to take them down the local arcade, they where mental over fighting games.

Theres a download somewhere of a load of issues, sadly it isn't all of them

>> No.1796090 [View]

Yes, was a "fun" gaming mag
Shame about the last few issues where it seemed to of forgotten the fun part

Not all, some arcade machines had buttons on either side

As the bloke that has recently finished a group buy, it is the way to get them cheaper.
I probably wont do another as its to much hastle

>> No.1750687 [View]

Wont removing the SD card while its on be bad for the Pi?
It holds the OS
You could get some small USB drives and use them while keeping an USB slot as a kinda Cartridge slot

Only problem with them is, they are cheaper for a reason, if its the same as there N8 clones expect very little compatibility (This has been reported about on the Everdrive forum)

>> No.1725138 [View]

>Carts can be expensive

Not as expensive as AES ones
Those mutli carts are ok if you dont have space for the games, but be warned apparently some can break and start crashing

>> No.1723959 [View]

the Plus is because it comes with the gun and extra pad,
Basic sets are usually the system and one controller
