this is all bs. All youre missing is one DLL File from the jap win3.1 "winnls.dll" and since the installer is sensitive to your OS just install QT independently and shazaam.

winnls.dll goes on the desktop.

I guess my identity's been stolen. Oh well, I don't have much to contribute anyway.

Well, it's good to know that Chu Teng works in DOSBox, but for me it seems to be having a few sound issues and some lag, even with default settings. Hopefully, there's a way to fix these problems.

Everything you need to get Chu Teng running in Windows 3.1 (except for the game itself) is in this download. Be sure to check the readme file first. It has instructions on how to set up DOSBox so the game will run perfectly.

Everything's working perfectly. I'll share tips on how to do it later, because I need sleep.

The Japanese version of Windows won't work. I just downloaded the English version that has Japanese support and will test it out right away.

OK, but it may take awhile to get everything set up.

Yes, the Windows ISO was in that Pastebin. Here's proof.

Thanks for the Chu Teng ISO. I can't wait to try it out!

I guess the mystery's been solved.

In other news, I think Windows 8.1 hates XEBRA. I tried playing LSD and Rhythm n Face on it, and both had issues with lag. This wasn't a problem on my older computer running Windows 7. Maybe I should transfer the games over to that computer and play them there.

To my knowledge, it was never found and ripped. I heard it wasn't very interesting, though.

Are you trying to say that the Chu Teng Windows ISO might be ready by tomorrow?

Never mind, I just watched a demo of the first stage, and it looks like you can get a perfect score as long as you stay in time with the music. If your button presses are even the slightest bit off, then you won't earn enough points.

>> No.1242970 [View]

I've spent the last half hour or so playing Rhythm n Face, and there's no way I can get a perfect 100 point bonus at this rate. Your button presses have to be very precise, and you also have to mix it up a bit by making your own beat (while staying in time with the music). Unlocking that freestyle mode is going to take lots of time and patience.

I was terrible at the game the last time I played it, so it may take some time to improve my skills. If I manage to reach the bonus round, I'll probably upload a video of it to YouTube.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to finish the game to unlock the bonus freestyle mode, you just have to clear a stage with a really good score. I haven't tried this myself, so I'm just going by what the website says.

That's actually part of the back cover for the game.

According to Google Translate, 副読本 means "supplementary reader." I guess it's meant to be a companion book for the game.

If you're talking about the table I made with the Sato stuff that hasn't been found yet, here's a link to it:

http://1-media-cdn.foolz.us/ffuuka/board/vr/image/1383/97/1383971993765.png

It needs a few edits (the official title for the Rhythm n Face book is リズムンフェイス副読本) and may need to be translated (no Google Translate, please), but other than that, it should be easy for message board users to figure out what we're looking for.

>> No.1239743 [View]

Which websites could we go on to ask if anyone has some of Sato's work and (hopefully) get a response?

I say there's no need to rage over someone else's opinion. If your cousin thinks a company sucks because they went out of business, just accept the fact that his views are different from yours and move on. Of course, that's just my suggestion. You don't have to take my advice if you don't want to.
