these were all made around 1985 and sat on a shelf until a couple years later when HAL belatedly released them in North America

both the gba and snes versions are good enough. sorry if they don't appeal to your high literary tastes, insufferable dickhead.

Neat little feature in this game. Very fun swapping out 5+ memory cards to hunt around all your villages for the best prices, if perhaps a little tedious.

Crosshairs that change colors depending on HP are pretty useful in heat of battle (no need to glance at HUD). Also if you go for more futuristic ones, then they might add to immersion.

Everything after Khelavaster in Ancient Domains of Mystery, ADOM is fairly hard as far as roguelikes go but when you have to do the orbs you're going head-first into areas where the very environment is a bigger threat than the monsters.

My family likes them. They're neat, but I always want just a little more of a game out of them.

Russel in that western game sounds cool as fuck.

That's how garrett would sound.

That only happened to me on arcane sanctum and was bearable. But I see the other anon already told how to ameliorate it.

I like to use the ports that add it. But I don't like to use crosshair, just doesn't feel necessary with how extreme the auto-aim is. Being unable to move my characters neck seems to mess with my head and built in muscle memory.

Like all characters in Baldur's Gate, they can be told to fuck off and have no impact on the main plot. The only restoration mods are ones that were already dummied out or removed from the original games, the most famous example being the Ascension mod which was made by BG2's design director.

The only significant changes you can't avoid are a plethora of bug fixes and BG1 having access to kits and more granular proficiencies, which has a hefty impact on the game balance in your favor, but BG1 isn't a difficult game to begin with once you get over the initial hurdle that is Lv1 AD&D2e.

Nintendo shamelessly ripped this off from PC games, flightsims and spacefighters especially made use of this and it functioned the same way. Once again, Nintendo never innovates, they simply bring pre-existing ideas with consolebabbies and then everyone jerks them off for it.

When I was younger I thought Mr. Nutz was somehow related to Conker (from Bad Fur Day). I don't think I actually played it beyond the first level when I downloaded the ROM in 2002.

I would have said Xbox Series controller through Blueretro, but apparently Blueretro doesn't support the first Xbox. Which is pretty funny, because it means that I can use the Series controller on PS2 but you can't use it on an Xbox.
