got damn it, I just realized that you don't need the Ice Beam to kill the turtle-bug things and can just super missile them to death. That makes things much easier

Yeah, I knew about the tank but was wondering if it was anything else. I just learned mockball and the correct way to walljump so I'm exploring a bit

Okay guys, I know Kraid is next since I've already taken out the eye covering his boss door. Done some backtracking and I'm wondering...

Can I scale this area and get through that hole at the top without the Ice Beam?

Also, I skipped Plant Boss. Am I missing anything important by not killing him yet?

So I should find a ROM of the original?

So are these just QoL improvements or is it worth it to emulate the original?

Anyone know if Dawn of Souls' FFII remake keeps its unique leveling system? I wanna try it out

Its an okay game, would have liked it have seen it follow the original trilogy's style and atmosphere versus the newer entries' though

Prime felt vanilla to the extreme for some reason. I always enjoyed its sequels more.

I think this lies in what you mean by upgrades. Metroid's introduction of different abilities would not count. Upgrading (basically permanently buffing) your speed counts.

Then they aren't RPGs. Name one notable "RPG" that doesn't have an EXP system.

>Zelda
I'll concede Zelda II as an RPG but to call any of the other entries that is just wrong. They're action/adventure games at best
