What is "real"? How do you define "real"? If "real" is what you can feel, what you can smell, what you can taste, and see; then "real" is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain.

Thank you for the suggestion, neighbor!
I was trying to play complex doom with LCA and it would crash every time I used a legendary item. I rolled back to 3.6.0 and it works fine now!

I only recently learned that there was supposed to be in game music. I played the entire game with nothing but screaming and car crash noises.

It looks to me like a spent rifle casing with a 9mm bullet on the end. I wouldn't put it past somebody who doesn't know jack shit about guns to make art like that.

I had the same problem but I did not attribute it to smooth doom, perhaps you are right though. I fixed it by turning down the number of "decals" that you have at a given time.

Beautiful Doom has some smooth animations like Smooth Doom does. But it does a lot more

It is also worth noting that Beautiful Doom works with Zandronum, while Smooth Doom does not.

How did you get that wide aspect ratio to work? I thought anything wider than 16:9 didn't work properly.

If (amount of ammo) x (damage per shot) - (total enemy HP) equals a positive number then you're doing it right. The lower the number the harder the map. That's just me though, I don't like to finish a map without killing everything.

According to the leddit thread, it's just Brutal Doom with DHTP.

Thanks for the help!

I think I will look into the VirtualMIDISynth or BASSMIDI option, I'm not looking to pay 125 dollars just so some midi tracks sound better.

A couple threads ago somebody posted instructions for quality MIDI sound. Does anybody have that? I would like to set it up that way.

can you isolate the one that controls FOV and aspect ratio?

I want to play at 6048x1080
