I'm of the school of though that X is just Rock upgraded. Makes more sense to me anyway. Light would never replace Rock, and as dickish as Capcom has been they'd never made it canon that Mega Man dies losing to Zero or something.

FLASH FACTS

Most of the entries in the Robot Master Field Guide were written by "NBD Nytrayn" of MMNetwork. He also seems to be a friend of Ian Flynn, who writes the Mega Man comic. The comic (or at least the comic's writer) may actually have a small influence on the Classic series' American canon.

Abrupt end! Would've been nice to see them at the customary Big Victory Dinner for crossovers, but we can always hope for another one.

This took a lot longer than I was anticipating, but I've been looking forward to it for months. Go and subscribe to Mega Man (where Mega Man will be fighting the alien lord Xenu) and Sonic (where nobody knows WHAT the fuck is going on but it will involve a vagina monster). They have online apps, so there's no excuse not to support these awesome series.
