Maybe I made this thread around the wrong time, honestly thought this was something that others may have experienced themselves in other games.

In Earthbound you are asked some questions as you start your game. You can name your favorite food, which I always left as Pizza. In turn, I thought the reason there was a Pizza Delivery service was because of my answer. Of course, that's not true and your choice of food only matters when visiting home and you use it as an Inn, your mother telling you (and your party) that she'll make your favorite food for dinner.

Everytime there's a discussion about name changes, I get the AVGN voice in my head. "Why didn't they just name it Starfox 2? Or would that be confusing because they was suppose to be a Starfox 2? So why Lylat Wars? It doesn't even make you think about Starfox." Despite that, Lylat Wars is pretty cool title. Should have been StarFox: The Lylat Wars everywhere.

Oh god, I remember when I bought it. I started it up and it felt so bad, but then, you're addicted to it and you near the end of the game and freaking out because you've missed over half the spirit things.

>OoT is Overrated
So, MM is the hipster response. It's the Mega Man 2 of Zelda games.

It's a great game, there really aren't but a couple bad Zelda titles, but I think it gets a little too much attention on gaming sites because people who like Zelda don't want to associate themselves with those who like OoT, which is still the better of the two.

In Mega Man's case, 3 is the best. Introduction of Rush, Protoman and sliding, the latter of which will be something very important in future games.

If you want to have something tell you where to go and what to do all the time and cut the life of a game, that's cool.

I'd rather go into a game, learn the ropes myself and get a sense of enjoyment from exploring and finding things myself.

I find using guides and such really hurts the enjoyment of the game.

Exploration, hunting, discovering things, etc give the game more life, imo.

>there's entire websites dedicated to just the fake rumors to "find" it
I loved that site. I honestly spent hours there when I found it reading all the rumors and how they were debunked.

Too bad there aren't sites like that anymore with how quickly people rip games apart and share their guts.

Fuck, most games come out and people already have handfuls of secrets/passwords to use for the game to make it easier.

I had gotten all 26 possible. At specific # of them, if you visit the building, you get an extra one, I think that happens twice, if not trice and they're the easiest ones to miss because they don't stack after you hit each threshold.

26 shells, sword upgrade and Boomerang.
