You can do whatever you want man. I really like ST and there is no one to play it with locally but I still play it because I love it. I think Vampire Savior is probably the most similar to jojo.

Also I think you should try playing a different game if you can never find matches in this game.

There's games that are still super active (sf4), games that still get played in tournament and online but are niche (super turbo), games that only really get played on ggpo (mvc1 etc.) and games that are so dead they don't even get played on ggpo. Jojo is the last category and it's pretty much a waste of time to practice a game that isn't even played on ggpo very much. There are lots of games on ggpo that still have competition: mvc, vsav, st, 3s, alpha 3, kof 98 and 02 etc etc.

Yeah I saw someone say that earlier. I stopped playing the game because hardly anyone played it on ggpo and it just wasn't really my style. Love the manga though.

Only problems I had with him were that I couldn't land either super consistently. The uppercut is such short range and I never figured out a good way to set up the unblockable.

I never really played this game seriously but I played the guys in the ggpo room a bit and I thought jotaro was one of the easiest along with young joseph. To me, jotaro felt kind of like the shoto of the game. Dio was a lot more difficult and most of the other characters just felt completely different from most fighting games I had played.

jotaro is not really that hard to play on a low or intermediate level. I don't know about at high level though.

I don't really know how to play shotos too well myself outside of throw fireball, srk jump in, basic combos and cr mk and sweep. I can play the o shotos to a decent extent I guess but I don't really know them.
