that would be very difficult with literally every console allowed to be discussed on this board. also HDMI is garbage, anything with inbuilt "authentication" is a mess. S-Video and RGB over BNC >>>>>

yeah not sure what that poster was talking about, Japanese, American and European brands were all affordable provided you didn't need something extravagant.

my city only has a population of about 2 million and I manage to find professional viewing monitors at least a few times a month

reach out to defunct broadcasters, universities/prestigious high schools, regional television networks, live events companies, hospitals and military

>tfw I only use CRTs for art production and installation, and am treated with respect
>browse /vr/ because the CRT threads are unironically good sometimes
>most of my clients specify they're happy the PVMs aren't just sitting in the hands of "childish gamers"

if you truly need help with basic research here you are, last time I'm doing it for free though

I don't have any recommendations sadly because Theme Park/Hospital are peak wacky simulator to me. Nothing else comes close in charm.

Yeah, complexity was so much more difficult to achieve that frame rates were not an issue. They were consistently tied to refresh rate though.

I've used viewing monitors professionally for decades and there really isn't as much of a difference as you'd assume, unless the consumer CRT is in awful condition or from a shit manufacturer. We have never worried about this in actual television broadcast.

3D platformers are, quite seriously, all bad

2.5D platformers like Crash are tolerable, barely

Yes, of course. What else would I have used before the Dual Analog, and then DualShock? Still a great controller for 2D games.

People who played games at the time were 100% nerds. Today it's closer to 99%, but these types of strange messages are no longer considered acceptable by most gamers.

The same reason top selling franchises very rarely include Sonic-style mascots. Most of us have grown up. The rest regularly post on 4chan.
