Wait, what?

Now I'm hard-pressed to find a copy of this. Damn, I did not know that.

Atari owns license to the first two games (and source) and don't want to do anything with them. Warner Bros. owns the IP and doesn't want to do anything with it.

The source code is not lost, there are multiple people with it backed up but with no rights to release it.

Got the 200.6%? Nice.

I've also gotten stuck with the percentage a few times myself, just need a fresh pair of eyes to spot it sometimes.

Where do you store the original cases if you use these? Isn't it just a waste of space.

Oh I absolutely love that game but it has nothing on the aesthetics and open world questing in Strife.

Well firstly it's the third game in the series, so you might be missing out on some of the story. I don't know the particulars of it myself, but since western audiences got King's Field II as King's Field and King's Field III as King's Field II, I'd assume there might be something amiss.

Why would someone skip that over the art style? By the looks of the cover it has the best art style of any Mega Man game ever.

The character you MAINly play. Ie. playing a multi-character RPG as if you were playing a single character RPG.

Sounds like he really likes Castlevania. I've noticed to become kind of protective with the author's original intentions for stuff I absolutely adore.

That or he's just being silly.

id Software was all about the engines, not the games. They just threw them on the table and had other teams produce the actual content:

Wolf3D -> Blake Stone
DOOM -> Strife
Quake -> Hexen II

I find it hilarious for games that have "no focus on combat" having a boss fight every 30 minutes.

>Most of the time you had to do combat.

"Survival" in "Survival Horror" ring any bells? It's the only Silent Hill game where you actually have to give a damn for your survival.

> the ORDER was shit and so were the human enemies.

This is easily its biggest flaw. But I find it handling it much better than Silent Hill 1 or 3. In Homecoming it's just "there", as an element that relates to the town's history instead of being this in-your-face plot element like in the earlier games.

>Garbage game , and I beat it over 4 times

I guess you've proven a point here. Nobody replays "garbage" for so many times, so you must secretly really like the game.

>I wanted to experience the story and had to deal with shitty mechanics.

>I would never defend SH's gameplay as being good, because it isn't

So when a Silent Hill game [Homecoming] comes around and fixes the gameplay to actually be involving instead of pointless autoaimed shooter fest, you still complain? This is why I can't stand Silent Hill "fans" either. Whatever a new Silent Hill game does better than the previous ones, you somehow twist it into being a bad thing.

Yes. I just woke up so I kind of forget where she was supposed to appear in-game, but she's in the game files as animated tiles, performing a seppuku, which is probably the reason she was cut. That plus she's the only visibly nude character.

It's not up to them.

Warner Bros owns the IP of Blood, but Atari owns the publishing rights to Blood and related materials (like the source code).
