I concur as a 31 year old. They were trying to sell magazines and phone calls to the hotline for lots of them.

Zelda is fine though. Metroid is fine also. Mario 3 is fine. Kiry is fine but things like that are too new. Shadowgate and Deja Vu are also 'playable'. Mario 2 and or Doki Panic are playable.

But most are ass. I probably have more roms for anything but that console. Then again I only have nes/snes/gb/gbc/gba/psx/n64/vb/ roms so there's lots I don't collect and play. I probably have the same amount of vb roms as nes. Nes is better than vb though of course, sadly.


Anyway, before people had good movies, tv shows, food even, books, the Internet, you were just super bored. You'd have hated to beat it fast and people literally played solitaire for fun. Mull it over and you'll realize why oldfaggots like beating overly hard games. Creates more of a time waster and a dopamine release at the end. Beating Zelda with it's actual cart made me feel far more happy in middle school when I did finally beat it than when I beat a lot of gba games, of which is my fav console now that I cannot even attempt to beat a nes game in my old age.
