Ok, we're doing some SSB next you three.
Here's the link so we all have the same one:

You don't take damage if you get the fatality animation, sure, but getting to it and getting up to the monsters shooting me is the issue.

Lime green Or kiwi green as we called it for some reason was the only one worth owning. Gold was a close second.

They don't really bother me because I'm rarely in melee. I just die far too fast at this difficulty to do it.

Those are a bunch of cars, silly.
I found it with a search, but if it's just a bunch of weapons for hilarity, that aint what I'm playing for.

>>539792
I like the difficulty. Anything less seems too easy.

>> No.539760 [View]

>>539747
I hadn't even heard of that one. It's not in the doom megapack either. Got a link?

>>539728
I can never connect to the irc.

Yes, you should.
Whenever something irrelevant or something that always brings an ocean of shitposting, ignore it and stay on-topic.

To stay on-topic, I've been playing through Doom2 with the Brutal Doom mod on the second hardest difficulty and it's kicking my ass. I'm also pretty sure some of these levels weren't in the original game.

I don't get how Doom threads devolve into a bunch of shitposting revolving tripfags.

Both sides are acting incredibly dumb.
Stop it.

Just stop.

This. It's right there in a screenshot of the game, look at the codec number.

Iirc, there were some channels in there made to mess with you.

Also, I can't think of any retro anti-piracy. I never got bootleg anything.

I've heard nothing but good about it.
Basically, get custom firmware for it, tweak things, and you've got the perfect on-the-go emulating machine.

It's notably pricier than getting a PSP and what you need to emulate on that, however.

>> No.532054 [View]

>>532007
Yeah, but that's a GBA, not a raspberry pi loaded with emulation.
Still damn cool, though. I want one.

Probably.
I would be amazed if no one has done that yet.

Hell, if I had the technical know-how I would put that thing into a modified original Gameboy, 4 buttons, somehow get shoulder buttons on there, and just blow minds everywhere.

No, the "hqx2" and garbage like >>531648 are the bloom of the emulation scene.

Also, that's a bad comparison. Scanlines and filters like >>531736 >>531601 strive to resemble the original experience as closely as they can, not to make things look better or worse

Here's a decent example.

>> No.531761 [View]

So what the hell made him destroy the Gameboy like that?
And how in the hell did you control your rage?

It's not "distorting" anything. Hell, it's one of the least invasive filters I've seen. It's hard to fuck up scanlines unless, as stated, they're too opaque.
This one isn't.
You either have terrible eyes, or are seeing something you desperately want to see.

Or you're shitposting.
If it's the latter, save everyone the trouble of reading your yammering and go somewhere else.

Yes, it's a filter made to look like scanlines. And that one is doing a very good job at it.
Exactly how do you think that's ugly?

I'm gonna keep posting reaction images now.

>> No.531679 [View]

That's made to resemble the screen of the Gameboy. The other is made to make /vr/ angry.

Though, it does look odd seeing as it's a very large image for something that's supposed to be a fraction of that size.

The only time scanlines look ugly is if they're too dark and obscuring; AKA opaque.

If you are saying scanlines in the first place are ugly, please redirect your traffic to a different board.

They're simple scanlines, and not even near opaque.
You're stupid.
