that is a cool lot, though I never buy from friends. It can only lead to conflict, at least from what I have seen. Especially if you sell them in the future for huge profit.

I already own the original consoles, it was part of the lot and I took them with the intent to sell, although I really dig the mini NES so I might keep it....my current NES is really temperamental.

Like it or not eBay is the prime price decider for most retro games.

It is no different from looking up the price of a car in a Blue Book.

There is nothing wrong with gaining an average value of these games by eBay.

Do i agree with the prices, not necessarily, but I am not going to sell/trade my games for less simply because of that.

Haha, okay.

I've been buying for 7 years friend. I am not a reseller, I just trade at flea markets etc, and I think I can get around 100 in trades probably. I am not saying this was a steal or anything, but I just checked eBay and there is over 100 dollars here easy.

I thought it was a solid deal.

Nothing incredible, but relatively below market value. It worked out to about $15 dollars a game, which both NES games pull, and the LTTP is pushing 30, majora's mask is the same, and I think OoT might be there to if I remember properly.

I could be wrong, I haven;t checked eBay in awhile.

Yeah, you are clearly copying AVGN, which is a shame because I enjoyed your video. Hell i might even pick up a copy of that game.

I collect mainly SNES right now, just upgraded my mildly yellow SNES to a sparklingly white one. I cleaned it with a toothbursh and everything.

As far as games I can only collect nm/mint games. I have a copy of Scooby Doo that looks like it was left in a sandbox for a decade and it pains me to keep it. It there is even a minor tear on the label I want to get rid of it.

For merch I usually only go for things that look cool, even if I am not a huge fan of the series. For instance I have a few gundams without ever having watched the anime.

Posters are meh, I prefer art deco stuff for my room.

I need a better shelf for my games though, it pains me to see them on a shitty shelf.

NES
Genesis (God I hated not having an SNES, but my best friend did so we played that all the time)
Playstation/N64
PS2/Xbox/Gamecube
Xbox360/wii/PS3

I hate to admit it but the console that saved me from quitting gaming was the Xbox. I had my PS2 for awhile and fell out of interest when my older brother by 12 years convinced my parents to buy me an xbox for my birthday so we could stay in touch and play vidya together (the only thing we really ever did) After getting xbox, and actually playing online games on a console with my bro over 3000 miles away, it blew my mind. I have no loyalty to any company....they all went full retard in this generation. However if I look back, I have to say Nintendo systems are the only ones I actively collect currently, while the others I don't seek out games.

All that being said I have played PC games since I was 5.

Most everyone on this board can relate to this, unlike other threads here.

teeth all the way, I also used to use a pillow to prop the flashlight up, but any slight movement cause it to fall, so itd create intense moments in some of the games I played.

I make these threads often, and I would like to update the picture, but I lack basic photoshop/artistic abilities to make something like the /vr/ gauntlet threads have....I would love to have one.

What are your fondest memories of gaming as a child....

this is mine. Before backlit screens, or even before the Gameboy light....this was true gaming at its best.

Well to be honest, I don't see why people hate the Big Game Hunter as much as they do. He doesn't do anything inherently wrong. He buys games, keeps what he wants and sells the rest. He is a collector so I don't see a problem with it at all.

For this thread it is too much, DEAL HUNTING not market value hunting.
