The server is going off-line for a little bit. I'm doing some work underneath my house including re-routing the coax for the server connection. It should be up within the next couple hours.

How would you all feel about having a match tonight? I'd like to keep hammering out bugs and getting new maps and do, like, an every Friday night thing. Also, is this a /vr/ exclusive server, or are outsiders welcome? I'm still working on the public list thing, but I was able to add it as a favorite, but only from the local list

I have actually noticed that as well. DM-DK-LogCabin is pretty small. I'm about to jump on so I'll make whatever changes I plan on making to the map list and refresh it.

Yes, I realize that, I was hoping that 18 years after the game was released someone would have made a mutator by now that listed what was available on the redirect. It's no huge deal, I just wish I could download all 96 gigs of maps at once and put them in my map folder, especially since UTfiles doesn't seem to have them sorted very well.


Hopefully tomorrow I'll have it public and we can start doing daily/semi-daily map adds for a while. I don't have to restart the server to add maps so adding them isn't a big deal either. However, there will be more frequent restarts as mutators and game modes are tweaked.

Okay, so the server is running, I was able to connect to it locally, I was able to play a match with bots, and the map vote plugin works and switches game modes as desired. The only downfall is it will only show maps hosted on the server despite downloading them remotely, so I'll be adding maps per-request for the time being. I will call the phone company tomorrow about getting the login information so I can forward the ports so you fine folks can connect and join the fun.
