From what I played, 90% of them don't. Certain building specific stuff won't build too close to coasters (like walls) but there are some pieces that are made to fit between the tracks.

The rest like loose scenery is entirely zero clearance.

Also would you guys be interested in a dedicated /vr/ct ORCT2 multiplayer server? We could have a map up for 2 weeks, then switch to a new one (and then save the previous map so you can download it for personal use)
