Is there a way that I can generate an autoexec.cfg for GZDoom, or make a my settings go from game specific to global settings in the .ini? I'm new to this and I'm trying to play Doom for the first time.

Besides the occasional person who views MIDI as sounding 'inherently silly', I don't find the MIDI music any less serious than the CD music.
I'd honestly consider the contrary, seeing as the MIDI's don't have that 'laughing kids' sample or that one brat saying 'ring around the rosy'.

What's the best way to play Shadow Warrior with proper mouse look? I started Classic Redux and even after I messed around with the sensitivity settings it still doesn't feel like its using raw input. Also, for whatever reason the framerate gets real weird when you walk on moving "props," such as the crashed car at the beginning or the hidden fortune cookie in the rotating sign. Picking up fortune cookies and using the medikits also tanks the framerate momentarily. The new Blood port is miles better than this.

This is correct. While I prefer SW's arsenal over most of Blood's (TNT and Napalm are so fucking good it's not even funny), Blood's levels are all really fun, even the absolute ball busters. Blood's enemy roster is on the weak side but those fucking whacky cultists are so fun to fight it carries the game.
But all three games are fun and well worth playing.
