Well I'm not selling the JVC since it's way prettier, has more convenient s-video switching ports, and I'm pretty sure JVC is supposed to be the VHS brand since sony was wasting all their resources on betamax. Just as well too because the damn thing keeps eating tapes. Plays them just fine, but then it wont let go of the damn tape when ejecting. I'll figure out how to fix it eventually.
For the sony, Idk it's professional and works perfectly so I think anything less than like 50 would be a crime. I just remembered I also have a panasonic consumer s-vhs player that I could let go for like $20. It's missing the logo somehow and I never could find it, but it otherwise works perfectly.
