There's many people who remember Mystica Ninja starring Goemon though. It still went under the radar for many, but a lot of people have memories of renting it at blockbuster. Most people seem to share the same experience with it: renting, loving it, and getting stuck on the first Impact battle, or if they got past it, they still couldn't advance much because of no memory card. And they still loved the game. Many finally were able to complete the game as adults.
GGA came kinda late to the N64's library, and also remember that at the time, 2D/sidescroll platformers weren't the genre most people were interested in, people were still riding the 3D craze, nostalgia for 2D/sidrescroll wouldn't surface until much later. Still people who were lucky enough to get their hands on GGA probably know how special and good that game is. I'm pretty sure GGA had a lower production run than MNSG.

So, I know the snes and n64 goemon games are great, but how about the nes/gb/ps1 games?
Also, feel free to talk anything about the goemon franchise.

This track is really just awesome, but then again the whole soundtrack is. I remember this castle being quite the bitch, so I heard it a lot.
