What exactly makes them "the worst"? Please explain the negative aspects that are on your mind.
I have files dating back to my original computer. Several decades of daily data and it fits in the size of my hand for something like $10 max. Indexing all of this data? Instant.
Who and how does this shit negatively impact anything. I can't even pretend to understand what angle you're looking at this from.

This slide is interesting. I remember Lego releasing a bunch of games that let you build sets brick by brick in a sort of "smart toy" way. But they never made anything that allowed free handed building. I wonder if they fully appreciated that something like Minecraft could exist?
