The guardians of the universe
When evil triumphs
Without a doubt they go out and combat it
For an ideal world

Gentlemen of the Zodiac
When they throw their attacks
Intoning they tell their song, the song of the errors

Has there been any reserach into how the dodging actually works? Also does 'Life' have a secondary function like 'Cosmo'? I remember you can die if you run out of cosmo, but typically you will lose health faster than cosmo. The bull boss I think would die from running out of cosmo, ironic since he has more cosmo than life.

In Portuguese:

Cavaleiros = Knights
Cavalheiros = Gentleman

OP is Brazilian. Don't know if tried to be funny or messed up on Google translator.

Yes, I speak more than one language. Several, in fact. You should try learning some other language any time, maybe your mind would open to understand several things you don't by now.

JOVENES GUERREROOOOOOOOOOS
I'll admit this was before my time but I started watching it a while ago and its fucking sick, everything looks cool and the fights are always cool.
Also the characters are manly as shit which is also a plus, every time they say "BURN COSMOS" I feel like I can lift 200kg

Unlikely, the second verse doesn't match the BR version at all. More likely some hispanoablante.

Hey, it has Peach Bomber, the deadliest and most awesome attack in the franchise, fear the might of naked buttocks!

But seriously, Next Dimension is just a badly written mess.

I remember when I was trying to beat the game on a Japan cart (it was a Chinese bootleg) without any manual, literally redrawing the codes in the notepad. And I didn't even know that you can dodge up to the penultimate boss, when I discovered it completely by a chance. It was a fun grinding fest, until the rocks started to fall from the sky and even after. Then I transferred all power from the other characters except for the one who fought the boss, I don't remember how I did it though.
Funny thing, it was long before my first PC and the internets, and only then I did know that it's a long-runing manga series called Saint Seiya/Knights of Zodiac. But by that time I had already grown out of the Japanese "cartoons".
t. Another nostalgic ESL.

I never watched the new Saint Seiya stuff. The designs are so soulless.
I remember watching the first arc of the Hades saga anime when it came out back in the early 00s, the sanctuary part. In retrospect it was pretty awesome... visiting the sanctuary again, seeing the gold saints again in a different situation, I have good memories of it but I never rewatched it.
Then I remember a weird movie came out (something something-hen?) and I remember watching it and not understanding what was going on at any moment, I don't remember anything about it.
Then the 2nd part of the Hades saga came out, when they actually go to fight Hades to the underworld... I remember watching a few episodes and dropping it.
Thinking about just reading the original manga at this point, but I'll probably stop at the end of Hades anyway.
I remember getting spoiled by a magazine back in the late 90s where they showed the last pannel of the SS manga, with Seiya dead in Saori's arms. To me, that's where Saint Seiya ended. I don't understand why it's still going, although I think some of the newer mangas are like prequels.

That movie picked up right after Hades. Hades cursed Seiya, putting him in a coma.
Next Dimension is the official sequel of the original manga, by the original author. It involves stuff from that movie (Artemis and the Icarus guy from Olympus), though it's a different take.
...And then it turns to time travel, instead of continuing on Olympus. Btw, Seiya's been in that coma since the manga began, like 12 years ago.

Saint Seiya Origin is a good one to pick up, it's a short story (also by the original author), explaining why Saga "turned evil", which the manga had left open. It also leaves a story hook for the future.

If by "the new Saint Seiya stuff" you mean the Omega series, you're doing well to ignore it. Even Toei prefers that you do.

Getting flashbacks from the "Tsubasa was in a come all along and missing his legs in a hospital bed, it was all a dream" meme.
>>6652412
Oh, I did. Saint Seiya was a big part of my childhood. The sanctuary saga still is one of the most kino arcs in any shounen, and despite not being as good, the Asgard and Poseidon sagas were also pretty fun.
I might read the actual manga from the beginning some day. I remember only reading a bit of the manga when I was a kid and was weirded out by Kurumada's "special" art, but I think I can digest it now.
Then again, I might just want to indulge myself and just rewatch the original series again.
I've rewatched some of the sanctuary chapters in recent years. Ikki vs Shaka is still one of the best moments in the series.

Better read the manga and watch the series, it doesnt take you much time to do both and finally be done with it.
