But LUCT was an atrocious amalgamate of port and re-master and it was a fucking joke of the original game. It tried to be War of the Lions for about twenty whole lines of dialogue before giving up completely, and ends up somewhere in 'nondescript fantasy.' All the same sprites from SNES are here to stay despite the total facelift everything else seemed to get, all the new content and all the otherwise-updated features. Yet all the sprites are the same bulbous monsters they were from the SNES, so it's like they remastered everything except the part that would take significant effort.
Then they reworked the class system to be complete and utter horseshit that's somewhere between a min-maxer's wet dream and a complete fucking nightmare of unspoken nuances and implications. While the idea of 'get new character, they're up to snuff' sounds nice it's a fucking lie; leveling in classes still provides bonuses to your stats and you still need skills with levels, so since your levels are all rooted in the class you've chosen, all new characters with individual classes come in fresh as babyborn with no fucking stats and no real opportunity to grow the way anyone who's joined until then will have had. So, unless you're interested in min-maxing, leveling quickly becomes a pattern of watching each subsequent new character fall victim to needing more and more babying.

I'm not going to cover the full list of nuances they completely buttfucked but whatever crack you're smoking about LUCT on PSP being good or even comparable to its prior iterations-- I want some, it's potent shit

Some real strange choices on there. Brave Prove is a cool game, and totally under-rated. It's basically a jazzed up Super Famicom top down action rpg, ala Soul Blazer. It got wrongly overlooked.

You also have the two Contra games on there, which are totally messy games. The PS2 Contra titles are way better 3D contras.

You should probably add Saturn and N64 games on there too. 75% of the games will still be PS games, as the SS and N64 had smaller libraries, and fewer good games that stand out.

The list should probably be split by 2D vs 3D, not by system.

Missing a bunch of solid games too, missing tons of 3D and 2D fighters. And I know there's more:
