Right? And 3 more on the N64, I've always been fascinated by this. Hudson basically stopped existing as a game developer except for churning out a Mario Party game every year or so. And I think they are still doing this

When did the opinion of this series shift? It is like the opposite of games like Zelda 2, that were loved back in the day but have vocal haters today. Mario Party games were panned back in the day, and were something you played because for some reason the N64 owner didn't have anything better to play 4 player deathmatch in like Smash, Goldeneye, or Starfox.

Oh there are plenty of games Nintendo could've been making instead. A proper Donkey Kong game, Luigi's Mansion 2, Kirby GCN... Instead we had to wait until the end of the next console gen before getting any of these
